 ~The Tale~Long ago, mankind was on the verge of starvation. Everything was frozen in what was called and ice age. There was nothing to be drunk anywhere as everything depleted and thus the vampire was born. These creatures could survive off of blood, be it human or animal. This mutation was vital for the survival of man kind, but soon after the mutation began, the ice age ended and humans once more dominated the world. They loathed the vampire as they survived off the another living being, though really, isn't everything consumed by a human once living?
A war occurred that sent the vampires into hiding, living in the night to avoid persecution by man kind. They adapted to the night, gaining keen vision in the dark and faster movement than an average person. Their immune systems built up and they could heal faster now too. The more blood they consumed the more powerful they became, but eventually the thirst for some vampires became to great and they began attacking humans that they happened to encounter. These vampires had exposed the existence of this forgotten species and the hunts began.
There came the organization of vampire hunters, mortals that sought to exterminate all vampires, regardless of the situation. A training ground started for everyone to learn to defend themselves against these vampires, but little did anyone know of the vampire side of the story.
The vampires started to return to day light hours in order to learn these fighting techniques as well. The vampires too had a group dedicated to the extermination of rouge vampires. The rouge vampires were generally those who were marked with the red crescent bracelet. These vampires were turned vampires that can't turn anyone. Their system is generally unstable which triggers the extraordinary thirst! The other two forms of vampires fight against these, the blue bracelet vampires, or stable vampires and the black and white bracelet kind, the ones that can turn others.
Aside from the regular vampires, there are a few vampires they call the "Espei" the most powerful of vampires that survive only on the blood of other vampires or Espei.
