Yes, I know this is like the biggest debate out there, but that's why I'm putting it here. I want to hear what you guys think. And please, don't make this brutal. I do not want to have to slap someone.

Questions to think about: Which one are you for? Why? Why aren't you for the other one?

My opinion: Evolution. All the way. I'm mean, we seriously believe someone who lives in the sky magically had all the power to create humans and Earth. Think about that.

I believe in both.....

I believe he made it to where everything would thrive and evolve on it's own.

But hey, I could be wrong. I'm not the big man and I also don't know for a fact that the big man exists

Very true...

Naturally I say God, but all things on earth evolve in some manner, but all life came from God. I ask a question, not to judge or flame anyone, for I am a person who respects all opinion and people.

The "Big Bang Theory" the scientific theory of how the Universe was made, says two particles collided in space and the explosion created the matter that lead way to creation.

If that is true, where did the particles come from? If nothing existed in the universe like they say, there is no logical way those pieces of matter got there.

But where did God come from? Is we(the world, space, everything) started from nothing, where did he start from?

That is a good question, dear. A very logical one, faith isn't about knowing everything there is to know, that is impossible in itself. Faith is about thinking beyond logical reasoning and having faith in what we cannot see. Air is invisible but we know it's there, right? There are many things that have been proven to exist, but yet we cannot see them with the physical eye.

In my opinion and my faith, God was there, he had always been there. But I am not God nor am I someone who knows everything. I just know what my personal belief tells me

I've seen people who were told they were going to die, because modern medicine couldn't help, but yet they are alive and well today. The BIG BANG didn't do that

i would say evelotion because i find no point in trusting i someone who might not even be real. in the world it is law of the jungle, survial of the fitest, killed or be killed so no point in belivin in god. no mean to dis anyone but this is just my personal opinion.

i believe god exsist but not in the way we think of him i dont believe he created all life or anything like that i believe he is someone who lets the universe go at its own way there has to freedom of will my friend almost drowned to death he was in a coma for three months they were getting ready to take him off of life support and he woke up i dont know if it was god but it was definatley something higher then modern medacine i myself dont know what to make of it so i dont expect you all to understand or even believe me but to me god exsists as much as u believe he does its all a state of mind in my oppinion.

I believe that there is a God who just started things out and then just sat back, relaxed, and let nature run its course. I'm sure He intervened here or there, but for the most part, I believe that God is someone who wants us to make our own choices and follow our own paths and not be some sort of device He can just use willy nilly and enslave to His will.

I read a book once, it was something like www.Here-I-Am it touched on all sorts of religious topics. It was elementary, but intriguing and filled with all sorts of different views on religious debates.

Ah, but would you rather believe in someone only to find nothing's there, or not believe then meet them face to face?

i would rather not belive then meet face to face if there even is a god. because if he is out there in my opinionhe aint worth prayin to i would rather live by the law of the jungel than look to "god" for help

Well, if I HAVE to choose from one of the two options, as goes the poll, I would choose God. Not because I believe that God magically made things pop into existence, but, as mentioned before, he made things in such a way that they could perfect and conform over the ages.

Therefor I believe in the Higher One, but also in evolution. Just as I am a firm believer that the marriage of science and religion would do us all a great good.

Exactly what I was going to say. If we evolved from apes why are there still apes? If we kept on evovling then why is the thing we evovled from still there? Why aren't we still evovling today. Faith is believing in what you can't see. I can't see God but I have felt Him in my heart and I know He's there.

Though I am not very strong in this topic, I do believe God is the answer. For I studied a few animals and realized: if evolution did exist then how could some animals be around as they are today? There is a part of our body that without we'd parish easily and we'd be extinct then if we didn't have this part of the body right away. Also the bees, butterflies, hummingbirds are designed to help pollinate the earth. Which lets plants live on. Yet why only these three creatures? If they are an accident, then why do they fit as one? Therefore I conclude it was indeed God who created us, because if the earth was accident, nothing would've survived.
