Zhaff: taco pocky, how are you today?
Taco Pocky: Oh I'm fine today, You, just tired and bored and looking to kill time on Omegle.
Zhaff: i'm fine thank you.
Zhaff: at what age were you first harrassed by a bully?
Taco Pocky: I don't really remember. Probably very young.. like six-ish.
Zhaff: when you were bullied, did you go crying to your dad?
Zhaff: what is your dad like?
Taco Pocky: Yes. I did. And he told me to bully them back. So I gathered a bunch of kids, we got huge tree branches, and we beat the crap out of the bully. He never messed with us again :]

Zhaff: what made you want to become a musician, and how did you come up with the name 'hate crime' for your upcoming debut?
Taco Pocky: What made me want to become a musician is my deep emotional connection to Okkervil River's "Black Sheep Boy" which is inspired (and has a cover of) Tim Hardin's song of the same title; I wanted to make people feel the way Will Scheff made me feel so I bought a keyboard and started teaching myself how to play. I named my upcoming debut "Hate crime" because I, as a racial and religious minority, felt the need to express my political views on oppression and injustice in modern society.
Zhaff: when is the album out?
Taco Pocky: Two neeks after next friday.
Taco Pocky: weeks*
Zhaff: don't worry about that spelling error
Zhaff: it will be corrected in the final edit
Taco Pocky: *laughs* Good to know.
Zhaff: does your dad back your decision to be a music man?
Taco Pocky: No. My dad doesn't have anything to do with my musicial ambitions
Taco Pocky: However..
Zhaff: we all know you for your strange mixture of instruments, does your dad play any instruments?
Taco Pocky: There is a father figure in my life, Thom Yorke of the band Radiohead. He's an alcoholic, abusive drunk sociopath who writes horrible music and I was inspired by him because I want to drown out the terrible mark he's left on music and provide a juxtaposition of truly emotional and truly technical instruments.
Taco Pocky: My dad plays drums, thats it.
