Basically just a place to try a few abstract things. Pretty open and good for hobbies.

"Well here we are" He laughed "Nice and open for some fun" Josh pulled out a pile of scrap metal and broken branches. "If you're ready we can get started" A smile spread across his face again.

Pyra held her right arm close to her as she glanced around the garage. It had much open space, which was a good thing. Her deep brown eyes rested on the pile of scrap metal, and she raised and eyebrow. "You want me to burn garbage," she asked.

"Nope, I want you to melt art" He grinned "It may seem like garbage, but once it starts melting, we can form it into real art"
(sorry it took me so long to reply >.< )

Pyra glanced from Josh to the pile of garbage and back. "Art," she asked. "I thought art was paintings or sculputres that make you wonder what the people were thinking...Splatters on the walls or clay idols that you see in some courtyard..." She sighed, having no faith in herself and fearing her power though she wouldn't let on that she did. She shook her head slightly and then gave a slight nod. "What do you want to make?"

"Art can be whatever you want it to be." Josh smiled and pulled off his shirt before put on welding goggles. "You make whatever you and the metal want. When you start melting, it will start forming, than we can go from there." Reaching for a blow torch, he tossed Pyra a pair of the goggles too.

Pyra caught the goggles and looked at them with raised eyebrows as if to ask why she needed the odd looking things. She put them aside and noticed that Josh had a blow torch, she almost wanted to laugh. Instead, she resulted to a highly amused smirk.
She jerked her hands to her sides, clenched into fists. They lit on fire and she glanced at her gloved hands. Then she took the couple steps she needed towards the pile that she deemed junk.
"Melt and form," she asked as she touched a small area of the pile with her left, flaming hand. "I got nothing in mind," she said with all honesty. She couldn't picture the pile being anything except a pile of garbage.

Josh grabbed a few pieces of the metal and started to twist them and pull them in different directions, even though it was melting from Pyra's touch. "Im taking since you tossed the goggles that this blow torch being turned on wont hurt your eyes than?"

Pyra kept her smirk and her eyes lit with a light flame. "Didn't you know," she asked with a slight hint of playful attitude. "I'm a walking fireball." She had never worked with goggles on before, she thought they were useless and unnecessary. Her eyes returned to their humanistic, deep brown color. Her hands moved across the pile of metal, melting here and there. She began to pull and mold some, copying Josh's design slightly.

"Wow.. nice trick. I bet people shut up real fast when you get mad at them... litterally flames in your eyes" He laughed and smiled wide. Picking up the blow torch, he flicked it on and started melting some more of the metal himself. "Just as your hands and the metal guide you to do"

Pyra smiled though inside she wasn't sure if she should be. "Yeah, they shut up....I don't have as much control over my eyes as I do the rest of me. When I'm angry, my eyes light up, when I'm sad, my eyes light up, I don't have much control over that." Her hands moved across the pile of scrap metal and she continued to form and twist, pull and poke the metal, not knowing what she was doing because she didn't have anything in mind. For once, nothing was on her mind, she was just doing. Not thinking.

Josh smiled a warm friendly smile back. "This is going great so far, normally it would have taken me a good while to get this far by myself" He laughed and pulled on the metal a bit more while melting it still in another place.

Pyra watched Josh work for a minute as her mind began to think again. "I still don't get the point of art," she said, her voice relaxed for once, yet full of wonder. "What do you do with art?"

"Well you can do whatever you want to do with it. You can display it proudly for all to see, put it up for you to see, or destroy it and start over" He shrugged and smiled again. Some hot melting metal splashed up on his chest.

Pyra didn't understand why anyone would have any use for art. Especially if the art was not functional like a chair, desk or lamp. She didn't understand, and for now, she was okay with that. There were many things that she didn't understand, and many things she knew would never make sense to her. She had seen art. She had seen the statues and the paintings, the sculptures that just collected dust and dirt in musems and parks. She had seen them, many kinds. To her, they meant nothing. To her, they served no purpose except to make her wonder why anyone would adore such things.
She saw the hot metal splash onto Josh's chest and quickly reached out to absorb the heat from it before it could burn through his clothes and onto his skin. She took the heat that she absorbed and quickly rid herself of it by using it to melt more metal. She glanced at Josh to see if he was okay...
