Biography: Umi had a rough life since birth, his father abandoning him and his mother being the only one there to care for him. Umi often went on his own little adventures or tried to help those in need, always doing such without reward he was raised right but always felt the pain of his father leaving. One of Umi's greatest adventures was the one that unfortunately led to his death but he has told many that he never regretted it, he was exploring a cave where a pack of wolves were said to live, him being a city boy in a private school never got to enjoy the things like wild life ad thought traveling into the forest to the cave would be the spark of his adventures, until he found out that this rumor was in fact true and wolves did live in the cave. Umi's spirit life was more of a drag to him, running on a daily basis from the hungry hollow that fed on the innocent souls, but what made this the most boring to Umi is that he didnt stay a spirit very long, being sent to 'Heaven' a few days after his death. Umi spent a good deal of his time in soul society fending for himself only, promising to himself he would make no friends and only work on feeding himself and caring for himself, although this was selfish of him the district he lived in was crammed and poor him living with 14 other young boys and girls who often fought eachother for food and valuables, Umi always hiding his from these people he was forced to call family. He often adventures still, soul society being a rather large place he got into much danger during his searching for fun and excitement but he seemed to have a knack for getting out of trouble since he was rarely caught and his cute appearance gave him little consequences, sometimes he was even invited inside by the families for some food and drink. Umi's mischievous acts were eventually over the top and complaints went to soul society, only finding him as a nuisance they planned to either kill him or send him to prison, once he was caught he demonstrated some powerful reiatsu for someone so young and once again cheated punishment and was rewarded with a safer place to live and thrive in seireitei's fourth division.
Zanpakuto Information
Sealed: Umi's sealed zanpakuto is rather simplistic having a normal hilt, sheath, blade, everything but the color of his zanpakuto's sheath and hilt was rather dull, the hilt and sheath noted as a vibrant white that seemed to shine like the reflection from the clear waters of early morning
Shikai: Come Forth And Bring Guidance, Rantsuki [Orchid Moon]
Umi's Shikai is known for being unique in the fact that once it is released his Zanpakuto's blade turns to small seeds and only the hilt remains, once the seeds hit the surface that Umi is standing on they sink into it and instantly sprout any sort of tree, bush, or other seed grown wonders of the world which he can use to attack using the roots, or the full grown trees themselves, although the trees are not normal and cannot be sliced down making for an impenetrable defense which is vital if Umi does not have a zanpakuto to use.

Fall Season- Dance of the Maple
This technique requires one of the seeds to be a maple tree:
As the maple leafs fall from the tree a strong gust of wind will pick up creating a vortex and causing the leaves to spiral and shred into tiny peices which will then be shot at the enemy, every small piece of sliced leaf will work as a blade and slice away at the opponent with the same force as a blade, this attack can also be used as a shield if needed.
Fall Season- Mirage
This can be used with the seed of any normal leafed tree:
Leafs will begin to fall from any tree Umi sees fit and float high in the sky before falling quickly like rain, this is where the magic begins as the enemy will now see fake images of Umi all holding his sealed Zanpakuto, although rather weak they make up for it in numbers and the attacks they throw at the target are real and will make an impact if hit by the blade.
Fall Season- Wind Danced Trees
This technique allows the trees that came from his seeds to uproot themselves and attack using sharpened piercing wood with the impact of a real blade, although this lessens their defense to where they are much easier to kill then before they can also restrain enemies by shooting their sap around the ground near the enemies feet which hardens quickly and sticks them to the ground.
Fall Season- Seeds of Life:
Once Rantsuki's shikai is activated and the seeds touch the surface and sink into it Umi is able to sprout certain trees with healing powers which the leaves will appear a flickering gold, once Seeds of Life is activated the leaves will fall from the tree and circle the target Umi wishes to heal, the person being healed must spend one post talking of how his/her wounds are being healed by the ability, note that once the leaves surround the target a green reiatsu will form around every golden leaf which has the same effect as healing reiatsu, this ability depends on the power level of the user using rank system therefore if a captain is to use it, it would have maximum effect healing up to major wounds, if a vice captain were to use it, it could only heal minor and medium wounds, and with a seated officer only minor wounds can be healed, medium wounds as well if in 5th seat or lower.
Bankai:Once Umi's bankai activates his zanpakuto makes a memorable change, taking the appearance of leafless tree although only as long as his original zanpakuto blade was, it will have branches sticking out all around it almost like spikes which can sprout vines that will grow thicker and longer and twist and turn in which ever way needed and if an enemy is securely held by them the tree-blade itself will extend out piercing the enemy, note that although the tree blade is made of wood it is no normal wood for a zanpakuto cannot just slice through it, although the vines can be if strong enough.

With this technique Umi is able to create earthquakes once in his Root ling form using his roots, once the earthquake shatters and loosens rocks from the earth along with creating a few craters if strong enough, Umi can use his hands to lift and send the boulders or pebbles depending on the size towards his opponent at great speeds.
Treeminder- Mother Earth
Once this technique is activated Umi is encased in a light but strong defensively wooden casing and tree branches protrude from his back on the left and right like the wings of an angel, this allows him to shoot vines from the wings and shoot seeds out of them for both planting trees for Shikai attacks and, if making contact with an enemies wound it will sprout in the open cut and turn that body part to wood giving Umi complete control over that area but it will not sprout further, if the body part is not one that can be controlled in a useful way and is the location of organs like the chest or stomach the seed will sprout and begin to attack the vital organs causing organs to fail internally destroying the body over a duration of 10 posts, note he still has his bankai zanpakuto.
