Hello fellow Gaian ScripTers,

This is Scrip speaking a.k.a. that 'feller that was supposed to be in charge of the guild a few months ago that disappeared without notice.

Anyway; I am back now. *hooray!*

I don't know how many of you are back, but just a thought I am hitting 'restart' on the guild. It's come to my attention that our guild is dead, and that is NOT the reason that I created it, really.

A few minor adjustments I feel like I should tell you all about before this goes down:

1) We are going to DOWNSIZE the guild, by which I mean 'I' am going to downsize. By downsizing, I mean I am going to be removing members. It finally hit me that we were focusing far too much on the want/need to expand, and because of this there was never so much of an opportunity to create the community atmosphere that it takes to build the foundation of a guild that people will come to know and care about.

2) I am going to keep a couple of people on the current staff, but the rest of you will have to re-apply so that I know you're still interested in the position, and that you are capable of holding down the fort.

3) Speaking of the fort, the fort is going to undergo an overhaul. Forums/subforums will be moved, removed, renamed etc. The ideals of the Gaian ScripT will remain the same, intellect and imagination will continue as they should, but there are going to be gaps and black holes everywhere if the forum exists at all while I'm doing all of this updating.

4) Now here's something important: All members and staff have until this Sunday, January 31st to reply to this message to let me know if you still want to be a part of this guild or not. Staff that wish to remain so are going to have to re-apply via PM; unless you receive further notification from me stating otherwise. Please leave only one post in this thread with a brief message/statement, all others will be deleted and/or overlooked.

Now, I know some of you will think this is unfair, and we are all at fault. As the guild leader, I should have been responsible for keeping the guild active and helping members along with proper guidance. But, this must be done if this guild is going to survive this downturn in the economy. I'm kidding about the economy bit, my sense of humor is lacking in parts. Yet, I do care immensely about this guild, about Gaia, having been a part since I was just a kid so many years ago.

If not, I wouldn't be taking all of this time out of my schedule to re-do this. I am still working at my part time job, paying bills, and doing what I love to do: writing. But, I want to provide something for not only myself, but for all of you who still care out there, too. This is the reason for my return, for the changes, for everything. I hope you can all understand; hope you have all been well these past few months; and I certainly hope that you will all help me in rebuilding and strengthening our guild. All right Mina; I'll edit my post to provide a list of members who have decided to stay. Your post is fine. Mind you, do not post a second time in this thread.

I'm sorry I've not had much time to devote to the guild. Life issues and such.

Anyway, I'd much like to remain a staff here, even if it means I have to come here every day. (My humor's been lacking as well, sorry.)

Anyway, yeah. This is a pretty cool guild, I'd love to stay a part of it.

The member known as Klabautermann is new, do not ban them if you don't recognize the name.

I would also like to stay on.
