[1] Blah, blah, blah (reasons for)
As you might have noticed, all the threads here are locked and with good reason too.
These are lessons that were preserved from before the guild was renovated. Some of the threads here might not actually have true owners here. They may be inactive for whatever reason or they could have chosen to cease to be a part of the guild this time around.
The point is, you can't post in the threads. HOWEVER, you might have a question about something in there.
[2] But... (to remedy problems)
So, you were reading a thread here and you find yourself unable to figure a particular part out or you want to know if something else works.
Ask us here. IN THIS THREAD. We will get back to you in a somewhat timely manner. (Meaning, we might not know the answer, but we'll do a bit of research on things or wait for a mod/member that knows the answer to get online and answer you.)
Be sure to include what thread you're posting about, just to refresh our memories. These are some well planned lesson threads, after all. We're people, not computers. It helps us to know what we're jumping into.
[3] I have a new one, though (for new lessons)
If you want to post a new lesson, great! We'd love to have new additions to our collection. (The mods of this guild like learning a much as you do.) But where to post them?
Well, the answer is, where appropriate. This means that you can post them here or even in the main forum. HOWEVER, we reserve the right to move them here at any time. (Meaning we might let a few users post on them to bring up/clear up additional questions, etc.)
We might also ask that you continue to monitor your lesson for new posts in case there are questions asked. We will also lock the thread if you wish (or we feel it's needed) though keep in mind that you may be asked to answer questions in this thread.
**Note: When a thread is locked, miscellaneous posts such as "That's so cool" or "Wow, that's really helpful" and polls will be deleted when the threads are locked. If you look through the other threads here, you'll note that things like that aren't present in them.**
