This small restaurant set a short distance from the Hyuuga compound is home to some of the most exquisite cuisine in all of Konoha. They have come to cater too all tastes in Japanese food.

Turning around, Ruii had walked backwards to listen to Ren talk about the battle that had took place at the village gates, a slight grimace flicking across her face as she realized that it had been the Hokage involved in it. Doesn't anyone around here relax and take it easy? she thought to herself, staying silent as she skilfully dodged around people and objects behind her, just moments before she walked into them. She stayed silent, musing over the information she was being given, and analyzing it to the letter. Of course, if she'd been there, she would've got far more out of it. Then, her nose twitched, once, before it began to twitch rapidly as she turned around, the scents of her favorite restaurant filled her nostrils.
A grin spread across her red lips, and she almost skipped through the door of the eatery. As soon as they saw her, a member of the staff made their way over. "Ruii, been a while since you were here" "Yeah, I've been busy, ya know? Work and all that. It's a drag, but what can I do?" "I dunno what we'd do without you ninja looking after the village, you're all so hard working" the staff member said, as she led the group to Ruii's regular table in the corner. " We do what needs to be done, ya know?"Ruii murmured, taking a seat. "We'll have the specialty, honey yakitori, and sake, even for the girl here. You're never too young for a good time, ya know? Unless you're a genin, I guess" she said, muttering the last part to herself. Turning her attention to her companions, she grinned ravenously, almost drooling in anticipation of the food. "You guys are gonna love it, ya know? I swear it's the best food in the village" she said, bubbling with girlish enthusiasm. Reaching down into a pouch attached to her hip, she pulled out a heap of money, and set it on the counter. It was obviously enough to pay for all of them, and to provide a very generous tip. There was a reason Ruii was the favorite customer here.

||Enterance: Ren, Bree, Avalbane/ Hyuga Compound||Ren and Bree followed suit and sat down at the table. Ren was still talking about the spar that had gone on at the gates. But, she stopped mid-sentance to reply to Ruii. "Ruii, you forget that I've come to this restaurant in the past as well. You also forget that I just celebrated my 20th birthday." Ren said with a slight smirk. "Oh yea, I forgot about that little event. But, now that I remember, I can give you this." Bree said, immediately putting Ren into a headlock and giving her a sound nuggie, then letting go just as fast. Ren immediately scooted over as far as she could, rubbing the top of her head and trying to straighten her hair, smirk completely gone. Or so she thought, but the corner of her mouth kept twitching upwards. "Must you gave me a nuggie every year?! I know you mean well, but that is getting seriously annoying!" Ren said with mocked annoyance. Avalbane had curled up at Bree's feet. She lifted her head and looked at Bree and Ren. Setting her head down again, she chuckled. They did this routine every year at Ren's birthday. "You two will never change no matter how old you get, will you?" She asked, still chuckling away. "Oh, come on, Avalbane. This is what keeps us young. Goofing around like this." Bree responded, leaning over so she could give Avalbane a light scratch behind her ears, also chuckling. Avalbane responded by leaning into the scratch. There were very few poeple Avalbane would allow to see her act like a dog. Bree, Ren, Ruii and Taiyou were four of those few. Other poeple included the other Anbu, the Hokage and his adviser and a few of the Jonin. Though, she could make an expection if they gave her a scratch behind the ears. She did love a good ear scratch. She aslo enjoyed a good belly rub too. ".....Doesn't mean I'm a push over." "I'm an Anbu."

Taiyou Hyuga: ANBU of the Hidden Leaf
"The Sun Hyuga" “Dream as if you'll live forever." Taiyou sat down quietly, observing the strange sights. He never ate at restaurants and so to him this was...different. However he waited anxiously for the food to get to him for his stomach was rather annoying. "Live as if you'll die today.”

The ground begin to crack slightly beneath where the group of shinobi were conversing. Tiny bits of rock, concrete and such seemed to spike up. Nearby with a colossal 'boom' burst a wood clone of Jurei, the Hokage. It urgently approached the group and faced Ruii, the ANBU captain. He held a glum look in his face, signifying something was amiss. "Ruii, I fear my meeting at the Valley of the End has gone sour. Our peace discussion has been jeopardized by a powerful council member from Otogakure, apparently the Otokage acted on his own will and angered some. I need you to leave immidiatley, for if confrontation breaks out Jiro and I may be outnumbered and overpowered."

Ruii's senses became immediately alert at the sound of cracking near the table, sliding her hands under the table and forming a series of handsigns, but holding off on the last seal. Better safe than sorry, so the saying went. As the Hokage clone appeared, she relaxed, releasing her handsign. Still, as was appropriate in the presence of a Kage, she stayed alert, listening to him attentively before standing up. "As you wish Lord Hokage, I shall be there as soon as humanly possible" she murmered. Reaching into a pocket, she pulled out the scroll from earlier.
Unfurling it, she formed a single handsign, causing her mask and ninjato to appear on the scroll. Picker her mask up, she slid it over her face, before grasping her ninjato and slinging it across her back, the hilt above her left shoulder. Turning to her companions, she inclined her head. "As you can see, duty calls. It's a drag, but what can ya do about it ya know?" she said, watching as the waitress placed the yakitori on the table. "Enjoy your meal, folks" she said, all signs of the laidback, somewhat jovial kunoichi gone. Turning, she headed swiftly towards the door, and from there out of the village, legging it towards the Valley of the End.

I would have gone too but I'm not needed....At least the food is here." Bree said, as she watched Ruii leave and picked up a piece of yakitori as she did. Bree didn't even look at it what she had just put in her month. "Hmm......Maybe we should going help around the village walls and gate.." Ren said, looking slightly nervous. That was the last thing they needed at a time like this. Everyone we still rebuilding. If a war broke out now.....She didn't even want to think about the outcome. "I agree with Ren. I think we should go help as well." Avalbane said, getting up and heading for the door. "Ok, let's go then." Bree said, as she pull out a scoll of her own. But, her's summoned a food container and she quickly put the yakitori in it. No sense in letting good food go to waste. Then she picked up her mask that no one had seen her take off in the first place, put it on and got up. She waited for Ren to get up as well before heading for the door. They would eat the yakitori on the way to the gates. ||Exit: Village gates||

"The Sun Hyuga" “Dream as if you'll live forever." He had just arrived and everyone was leaving on missions besides Taiyou. In truth, this was really, really annoying. Taiyou loved the Leaf Village to death and could not stand watching everyone else going on missions when he couldn't. However, he knew that his Anbu Captain was more than enough for whatever trouble ensued in the Valley and chose not to do anything about it. Taiyou calmly began to eat his ramen, something he loved as well. His time for helping Konoha would come, but now it was time to rest. "Live as if you'll die today.”

 Her eyes would open wide as she was assailed with what could have arguably been the most pleasing combination of smells known to man, or in this case a poor young genin with not a lot of coin lining her pockets. Looking around the place she would see all sorts of people sitting down to rather delicious looking feasts, compared to the meager amount of food she was used to, and talking amongst themselves happily. It was almost too much for her to handle as her mouth would begin to water. "Um......um.....Kenji." she would say as she sat down, watching the boy bury himself in a menu. "I.....uh.....don't have enough money for this." and by that she meant she had absolutely no money whatsoever.

Kenji cursed under his breath at the girl's hesitation. 'Seem that she wasn't excited enough to just order...'he thought sourly, grimacing at his bad luck. 'I should have made it more exciting.' His voice slightly muffled from behind the menu, he replied to Aya in an out of place friendly tone, "Remember that pouch of Ryō I gave you? Lunch is on me." He really hoped he hadn't caught the forced tone he had used while speaking to her, because with his personality, talking in a friendly manner was painful and didn't come naturally. It was a bit easier on the Uchiha since it was Aya he was speaking to, as they were comrades and the aura she had that made him want to protect her, but otherwise, if she payed attention, she would most certainly catch his slip-up. A bead of sweat dropped down his covered face, and he gulped inadvertently. 'This just went from bad to worse real quick....'
