10 yrs after the cold war ended, America felt the need to be the bigger man and become friends with all the other nations. How to do it? LAS VEGAS! There is no place funner than that! Everyone would have a great time and America could show off his skill at playing cards. So he sent out the invitations.

Switzerland went to go fetch the mail , as usual and was shocked to see a letter from America in his mailbox. He carefully examined the letter to see what it could possibly be for, knowing that hamburger idiot. He went inside his pocket and reached for his Swiss pocket knife to open the letter. Sure, he and America weren't ever real enemies, but they weren't of any sort of friends or shared a real alliance.
He examined the letter's contents, thinking the American an even bigger idiot than before. Then again, the invitation was sort of appealing. Big gamblers and puny farm workers to stupid to make good choices and enough alcohol to justify his actions. He decided to take a break and see what this whole "become friends withh all the other nations" nonsense was about and was off to pack some things help him fit in a bit more.

Korea laughed as he folded the letter back up. "It's been a while since I've heard from America. I never expected his next letter to me would be an invitation to a gathering...in Vegas, no less!"
The Korean had heard much about Las Vegas, a city known most for its hotels, entertainment, casinos, and so much more...A city like that was bound to be filled with many exciting things to do.
I hope nothing gets too out of hand, though. I doubt America will make many friends if this turns out badly... He thought, making his way to his room to go prepare his items. But at the same time, I doubt anyone's in the mood for another war. He shrugged, and pulled out two large suitcases from his closet.
He sighed, after throwing the both of them on top of his bed. Man, this is gonna be one interesting event.

Italy looked at his invitation with a big smile on his face, "I've never been to Vegas before. I heard that there are a lot of really cool lights! I hope Germany and Japn come too! I wonder if they have pasta in Vegas?" Italy continued thinking of all these fun things as he packed his suit case.

Hungary furiously packed her things into her dark green suitcase. She was VERY excited to be going on this trip. She had been practically bursting with joy as she read America's letter. I can't wait to go! she squeeled. I wonder if Prussia will go... She glanced at her favorite black, metal frying pan laying on the bed next to her suitcase. . . .Better take it for good measure. She gently placed the frying pan into her suitcase, snapped the suitcase shut, and walked down the stairs. She bounded through the door, heading towards Las Vegas, not knowing of the insanity that would soon follow.

Lithuania picked up the mail and brought it in. "Mr. Russia, there's a letter here from America. He says he wants us all to come to Las Vegas. Are we going to go?" Business-associate mode; the only way he could talk about America to Russia.

"EEEEUUUUGHH, I'M SO BORED! When will they arrive already?! Y'know, I should have just sent them an e-mail or text instead of doin' it old-school like Iggy still does." America whined out, a cheek laying down on the table, blowing a strand of hair out of his face.
America's stomach gurgled loudly and started to pat it. "Man, I'm hungry! I'll just go to McDonald's for a meal and come back here." He said, lifting his head up, getting out of his seat, and out the door.
'I sure hope this'll be even awesomer than that one time in New Years, or Valentine's, or Christmas.' America thought walking through the door and ordered his usual of hamburgers, fries, and a coca-cola; all super-sized and went to go sit down. He then picked up his order and started to dig in.
America wondered out loud, his mouth full, "Duch, I wundr hw mainy pe'po wir c'm..."

Russia read the letter and frowned. America wanting to become friends with everyone, how typical of him. Russia thought. Yet again he knew that it would be pointless to refuse to go, that would not bode well for either of the two former enemies nor the rest of the world. It would also improve an already unstable relation. "I might as well go." He sighed and he walked up to his room in order to pack. (Russia is still kinda pissed at America)

Vegas…
Romano mouthed the word, his eyebrows narrowing at the letter before him as the juice from the half-eaten tomato in his hand made its way down his chin. The last thing he honestly wanted to do was spend time with that of his fellow nations, most of them were scary bastards anyways.
But the girls in America were pretty cute...
And he was positive that the potato b*****d would probably be attending. If that were the case, he’d have to go to keep an eye out for his brother to make sure that kraut didn’t pull anything funny.
And with these thoughts in mind, Romano hastily finished his tomato and began packing for Las Vegas.

Greece played with the invitation in his hand. He wondered when the last time he tried to truely mingle with his fellow nations was. A smile made it's way to his lips, hoping to see some old faces like Italy and Spain. Though the thought of having Turkey appear was a slight turn-off, the look on everyone's faces when he completely dominated the black jack table was too tempting. America, you sure know how to pick a location! He then heads back to his room to pack humming some song about vegetable juice Japan was playing awhile back.
(the song is Popipo and there's an awesome Hetalia version I highly recomend if you haven't already watched it! mrgreen )

The invitation Spain had gotten was forgotten long ago. After reading it several times (he just could not believe that he was being invited to Vegas by America) he set out to pack but felt like he was missing something. Let's see, he ran down his 'things I need to pack when I travel' list, finding he did have all his necessities, but it felt just something was missing! Nay, someone was missing! The passionate nation then dialed Romano's number.
[Ohmai goodness I love that song! 8D Mostly the "wryyyyyyyy" Hehe...but the Hetalia pv is SO good, lurv the animation. Though theres actually quite a few of them so idk if we're talking about the same one .__.]

Romano pouted and maybe blushed a little as soon as he heard the unmistakable ringtone that corresponded with a call from Spain.
“Leave it to him to bother me when I’m actually doing something.”
Romano muttered, hoping wondering if Spain was going to Las Vegas too. He abandoned his half-packed bags and fished around in his pocket before pulling out his cell phone and accepting the call.
“Oi, what do you want?”

"Hola Romano!" Spain cheered into the phone, not phased at all by Romano's blunt greeting. "Did you get America's invitation? Are you going? We should go together!!" he stated together all at once, with the permanent smile on his face growing by the second. He already slung his bag around his shoulder and headed out the door to pick Romano up. Because from Romano, yes meant yes, please and no meant yes!

Romano rolled his eyes upon hearing Spain’s cheerful greeting. Honestly, that idiot was always in a good mood. Sometimes he wondered how the Spaniard was able to do it.
“Yes, I was invited and yes, I am going.”
Well, that took care of his previous concerns. However, at Spain’s suggestion, his face broke out into a nice red color.
“F-fine! Besides, if I said ‘no’ you’d probably ignore me, anyways!”
Romano sputtered, hastily packing the last of his bags. It wasn’t that he liked Spain or anything! Yeah, he totally didn’t like Spain at all. It was just easier to travel with people he knew. That was all.
