This is not an actual apartment. The former tenant was evicted, and upon her re-admittance, her apartment had already been leased to another occupant. These are merely memories echoing in halls that another lives in.

As you walk into apartment 102, you can't help but notice the complete lack of natural light. Black, lacy curtains hang over the windows, and the walls and carpet are a dark blue color. The kitchen is neat and tidy, and the tiles match the carpet. The dining room is simple, a table and a few chairs the only things in it. In the living room, there are many books stacked on a single bookshelf against the wall. Most of these fall into the categories of Romance, SciFi, or manga books. Against the next wall, there is a small television with a PS2 sitting on a small cabinet which holds many horror and anime DVDs, CDs, and video games. However, the TV is a little dusty and looks like it hasn't been used for a while. Against the remaining wall, there is a large computer desk with an Alienware PC on it. The monitor is flatscreen, and there is a large tablet next to the keyboard. Also against this wall is a loveseat, which seems to be the only seat in the living room aside from the swivel chair in front of the computer desk. Moving into the bedroom, you see it is just as lacking of natural light. There is a large bed taking up most of the room, the only space free is the space in front of the closet and door. You almost wonder how the thing got through the door before you realize that it is just two seperate mattresses fit into a large frame. The bed is covered with black sheets and a large comforter with a picture of Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Moving into the bathroom, you see the tiles are the same ones as you saw in the kitchen. As you go out through the living room to the patio, you move the black curtains aside. Natural light floods your eyes and makes you blink in surprise. There are many potted plants on the railing of the patio, though most of them are nocturnal, and as it is daytime, their flowers are closed. As you leave the patio, you make sure to draw the curtain closed again, and you exit the apartment.

The lock makes a clicking sound, breaking the general silence of Apartment 102. A woman of 23 in a flowing black lolita-style dress opens the door and puts her keys back into her small black handbag. Asmaria closes the door and looks around her, obviously satisfied at the appearance of the place. She turns on a light switch and the apartment is flooded with a soft red light, making the walls and floors look a violet color. The woman has long black hair tied back with violet ribbons into braided pigtails. She has soft brown eyes and pale skin. She wears thigh-high platform boots with many straps on the front and a zipper down the side. As she enters, she unzips her boots and steps out of them, leaving them at the entrance. She takes a seat on the couch and removes her spiderweb-pattern pantyhose. She then unzips her dress and pulls it off her. She takes the ribbons out of her hair. She goes into the bathroom and turns on the shower. After stepping out of her panties, she gets in, letting the warm water run over her slender body. After showering, she takes a bath towel and wraps it around her hair, then she takes another one and wraps her body in it. She puts her panties back on and goes out to the living room to collect the rest of her clothes and turn out the light. She goes into her room and turns on the light. She puts the clothes in a large hamper in her closet, along with the towels. She pulls a sheer black negligee out of the closet and slips into it, then she turns out the light, pulls back the covers of her bed and climbs into it.

Asmaria jumps awake with a start, though she is paralyzed and unable to move. She tries to get up, but can't. She can only gasp for air as she lies there, waiting for it to end. Soon, she is able to move again. "Why'd I fall asleep on my back?" she asks herself. She gets up and fixes her bed, then changes into a black tube top with a picture of a faery on it and a black miniskirt. She puts on a pair of striped socks and a pair of black work boots. She then goes outside, locking the door behind her.

The door opened, and Asmaria stepped back inside her apartment, turning on the light, taking off her workboots at the door and closing the door behind her. She went to the refridgerator and rumaged around before pulling out a Smirnoff Ice. Asmaria opened it with the bottle-opener/magnet on the front of the fridge, then took a good long swig of the liquor. The raven-haired young woman settled down in front of her computer, opened an application and began to type.
"Let's see... Dim Name as String... Dim Age as Integer..." she muttered under her breath as she typed. She continued to define the variables, then began to work on the meat of the program she was working on: the procedures. Asmaria continued to work on the program even though she hadn't slept since yesterday, taking a drink every once in a while until she'd finished the bottle. After she was satisfied with her progress, she turned off the living room light, went into the bathroom, turned on that light, took off her clothes, then turned the shower on, letting the water cascade over her body. After her shower, she wrapped her hair in one towel and her body in another, then pulled her panties on and picked up the rest of her clothes, turning off the light. She yawned as she went into her bedroom, throwing her clothes and towels in the hamper, then taking a black nightgown out of the closet and pulling it over herself. She climbed into bed, making sure to fall asleep on her side this time.

Asmaria jumped awake, gasping for air. "What a nightmare!" she said to herself, smiling a little. She loved to be scared. The comlete rush of adrenaline that came from being scared out of her wits excited her like almost nothing else. The only thing that excited her more than being scared was... But enough about that. she thought. She got out of bed and dressed in a black belly shirt with a heart on it and a pair of black shorts that were so short, they barely covered her buttocks completely. She put on a pair of black ankle socks and a pair of sandals. She decided to take a look around the place. She had read they had a Rec room in the ad that had directed her here.

She followed Asmaria closely as they walked down to her apartment. She looked down at her feet as she walked, her arms at her sides trying to make it so her baggy clothing hid her body from what it really was. She looked up a bit as she realized they were almost at door 102.

Asmaria unlocked the door and held it open for Axi. "Well, this is my place." she said, a bit nervous. She turned on the light switch and the room changed color due to the red light bulb. "So what do you want to eat? I can make spaghetti, or grilled cheese, or I could fry up some bratwursts..." Asmaria said, looking at Axi.

Her eyes widened as she looked into the red room. "Grilled cheese would be fine." She said slowly looking around the room. She walked in slowly, looking the room over, exploring a bit and sat down at a table, looking back at Asmaria and smiled slightly.

The raven-haired woman rumaged through her cupboards. "Now where'd I put that... oh, here it is." Asmaria muttered to herself, finally finding a small griller and laying it on the counter. She went to the fridge and got out bread, cheese, and butter, then, after pausing, took out the honey ham, too. "You want ham on yours?" she asked, holding up the package of lunch meat. "I don't know, I've always liked my grilled cheese with ham." Asmaria said, still nervous that any minute now, she would slip up and scare the girl away.

"No thank you." She said in response. Axi was not a vegetarian, but she never really enjoyed some meats heated like ham. She laid on her head on the table looking at Asmaria working in the kitchen hoping she wouldnt notice her.

"All right, no ham." Asmaria said, buttering a piece of bread and placing it, butter side down, on the warm grill. She unwrapped a slice of cheese and laid it on the bread, then buttered another slice of bread and put it on top of the cheese. "How many sandwiches do you want?" she asked, turning around. She looked at Axi with her head down on the table. "Is everything okay?" she asked. To her, Axi seemed either tired or bored. Perhaps I'm not a good hostess. Asmaria thought.

"You really should try to finish it, Axi." Asmaria said, then instantly regretted it. Look at me, trying to sound like her mother! She's a grown woman, she can do what she wants! she thought. She went back to the grill and prepared a couple of sandwiches for herself, not noticing Axi was looking her over. "Would you like something to drink?" Asmaria asked, flipping Axi's sandwich over and seeing that the bread had turned golden-brown.

"Mm, water would be fine for me, thanks." She responded, she held her shirt down nervously thinking Asmaria found out about her size and slowly looked away closeing her eyes. "Oh no, I think she found out." She thought. She pulled her glasses off her face and laid them on the table.
