I'm astounded this place is still alive somehow, and has some of the original members I remember though lord knows if anyone remembers me.
So I figured what place would be better for recommendations then here? with somewhat familiar people.
I went and got myself a Numark OMNI controller, and in turn I now need tracks to learn how to mix with. All "vinyl vs. digital vs. digital on vinyl" etc aside (its a big s**t storm from what i gather), I'm looking for some good basic houseish tracks to start learning to mix and beat match with, as well as any recommendations from people who may have a little more experience then myself. (aside from dumping a few thousand on gear rather then sticking with what i have).

Oddly enough, the Electronic music forum is currently full of housies (at least in terms of regs). It's like a big clusterfunk in there. Cyph3r.Punk even did a webcast of a house mix he's planning for a gig. He'd be a good person to ask about house.
Honestly I don't even come here very much anymore since the EMF regs are so active and quite hilarious at the moment.
