Scarred by his past, he has removed himself from society, becoming a roaming hermit whose only purpose is to live. Few know of his true identity: he is in fact a powerful Sajje who specializes in healing spells.
Short background/history: Timothy was born a son of an abusive father. He knows nothing of his mother; she was killed by his father when she gave birth to Timothy, a cripple. He grew up in a constant state of abuse; he was fed once every other day and regularly insulted and beaten. It wasn't until the age of 7 that he crawled away from home and found a monastery. It was there that one of the priests, Father Brown, took him in and raised him. Under his tutelage, Timothy learned how to perform basic human tasks that his father neglected to teach. Later on, Father Brown taught him the Majje arts, which he grew to have an uncanny proficiency at. At the age of 55, Timothy became a Sajje, despite all his disabilities. By that time, Father Brown had been dead for fifteen years.
At the age of 60, to learn more about his past, Timothy returned to his former home. The house was completely abandoned, and rustic with age. He looked through the house, but only found a blank piece of parchment, which he immediately recognized as a tome. Curious, he brought it back to the monastery for further study. To his utter shock, he had found a forbidden tome; the spell that could bring a soul back into its body. Without thinking, he went to Father Brown's grave to attempt the resurrection spell. Near the end of the day long incantation, he saw Father Brown's soul returning to its body. He got excited, and skipped a single click. It was then that the soul shattered, and dissolved into the air. He had destroyed his mentor's soul.
This broke Timothy's mental stability; he fled the monastery and hid in a cave for sixteen years, only living off of his own magic. It wasn't until recently that he came to terms with his past, leaving the cave to roam about the world.
Affiliations (relationships, alignment with various societies, et cetera): None
Anything else: Timothy has limits on what he can heal; he cannot cure mental diseases or birth defects. He also abjectly refutes the existence of his forbidden tome, hiding it in a vacant dimension of his own creation.
