i am in the middle of knitting this blanket for my nephew or niece. i will be an aunt for the first time, and i wanted to make a blanket for him or her. it's not even half way done, but i thought i'd show what i have done so far. it's kinda hard to finish it with my cat running around and trying to attack my yarn, lol. I hope you all like it.

Looks so cozy! Nice job! I'm sure your niece or nephew will love what their auntie made just for them!
Funny story, my mom just finished crocheting my sister's baby blanket for Christmas and my sister just turned 29 in September.. Yeah, it took 30 years to make the darn thing. She started when she was pregnant with her, then they discontinued the yarn, so she's been searching for anything similar for years and she just decided to add skeins of the main colors to it, like white, pink and blue and she made it a larger blanket, seeing as her baby has grown quite a bit lol xD
