A canopy-esque plaque is connected to the ceiling, holding the curtains that will drape down around her bed in a circular shape. She usually closes them when she sleeps at night.
Her bedroom is very modest and modern. The lamp on her table is off unless it is nighttime. The rest of her room consists of a few book/shelves, ornament/plant holders, a chair to lounge in as well as a love-seat for guests.
As for her bathroom, she has a vanity mirror and sink as you first walk in; the toilet is on the other side. She has a bathtub and a stand-in shower that uses both water and steam. She also has another chair in the bathroom that she moves around for multiple purposes.
***Everything in her room follows the color pattern of: Solid Blue-Grey, Grey, White or some black.

She was laying under the covers, both arms to her side but one under herself and the pillow. Her legs were half curled, the one on top forward so it stretched out, just slightly, in front of her. She'd woken up to the sound of classical music. Her body inflated slightly as she inhaled a breath and her eyes opened. She blinked a few times before stretching out all of her limbs and sitting up. What the day held for her, she did not know, however she did know she had to follow that little routine.
The young woman reached her hand out and opened the curtains that feel don around her bed. She stepped up from the bed and made her way to the bathroom. Here, she brushed her teeth and used mouthwash. After this, she grabbed a towel from the rack and made her way over to the tub. It quickly filled with water and bubbled up as minerals and herbs were added.
Mandolin set the towel down on the side, where it wouldn't get wet, then stripped down so all of her skin was bare. She had a large window set up, basically a wall for the bathroom, but it didn't bother it. She could look out of it but no one could look in. Once in the water, she calmed and closed her eyes again. It was warm, almost hot, and she could feel the additives doing their job.
After her bath, which was a mere 15 minutes later, she dried herself off and made her way to her closet. Inside was no sign of clothing, but rolls and rolls of cloth crossing horizontally from one side of the wall to the other. She grabbed a few rolls and pulled off a few yards of material from each. From there she moved to her bed and let her hair down from the towel. The fabrics formed together, tore each other apart, added back together and morphed again. Meanwhile her hair dried and straightened down, her bangs falling lightly over her forehead.
She picked up her clothing and put it all on, now donning a sort of old fashioned shirt and a pair of fitted dress pants. Mandolin returned to the closet and found a pair of shoes that she'd already had made and decided to keep. She put them on and thought about what she wanted to do today... She wasn't sure.

Alex cautiously walked up to Mandolin's door and barely brushed her knuckles across the door. Maybe this was a bad idea. I don't want to intrude on anyone. . .but how am I going to get to know people? Alex swallowed her fear and gently knocked again.

She opened her eyes and followed the vibrations with her eyes to the door. Mandolin sat up, wondering who could be there. She got up from her bed and walked across the room, touching her hand on the doorknob and opening the door to find someone she had yet to meet.

Alex was startled, she hadn't heard anyone move in the room. "Oh, uh, hi. I uh, I'm new here and I just thought, I'd uh, ya know, stop by and say. . .hi?" Alex gave the girl a nervous smile, afraid she had intruded on something important.

The girl listened intently to the other girl and took her time processing what she heard. After what seemed like an awkward minute of silence, Mandolin smiled. She put her hands up nd began to sign, H.E.L.L.O. I.T. I.S. N.I.C.E. T.O. M.E.E.T. Y.O.U.

Alex felt a little akward but still continued to give her nervous smile. She paused for a minute before slowly lifting her hands, trying to remember the sign-language she learned from her cousin. She spoke as she signed, "My name's Alex. What's yours?"

Alex nervousness turned into relief. She'd been afraid she would make a mistake. "Blind? It looked like you were looking straight at me. Is that apart of your power? Do you sense vibrations, or auras?"

G.R.E.A.T. S.T.R.E.N.G.T.H. Mandolin smiled. I. A.M. J.E.A.L.O.U.S.. It was hard to say if she was joking or if she was giving a compliment based on her facial features.

Alex eyes widened with amazement, "That is so cool. You can see someone's genetic makeup and their melecular structures. I'm jealous." Alex smile widened, in truth she was a little jealous, how offten she'd wished her powers had manifested in an intelectual way.

She wouldn't be surprised if Alex had been here longer than herself. She rarely met people around here.

Alex rubbed the back of her head, "Haven't even been here two hours. I ran into some trouble in New York. I guy here, named Ethan, picked me up as well as two other girls who got involved." Uhg, New York, she was gonna be sore in the morning. Alex wondered if the incident was on the news already or if they were still cleaning up.
