Warren lay on a bolder, placed in the middle of the new flowerbed. Around him were roses, the same kind he had given Lockhart. The large brute smiled, and let out a contented sound. He had broken his leg to chase him down, after that woman had so callously hurt him. It had cost him a broken leg, but it had been worth it.
His chest swelled with pride, and another feeling that made him feel warm and fuzzy. He was larger then Lock, and he loved when they lay side by side. Lockhart moved with the silence of a hunter his age could only manage. His eerie eyes staring ahead to his prey, his new lover. It was a strange, he had to admit, being the smallest of the pairing, it was a first for him, after all, he was fair-size for a male, enconturing someone larger then himself was rather uncommon and difficult.
Tracking Warren down had been easy once he had gotten directions from Lily. The white male stopped at the sight of the roses, staring in awe at them. The rose that had been gifted to him was back at his nest, his guardian had put it in a bottle with some strange liquid to keep it safe and beautiful for eternity.

Warren heard nothing, but rather felt the presence within his private place. He was sure Lily had come to annoy him, as much as he cared for her, she was like his own, he still sometimes wanted time to himself. He was thinking of a way to surprise Lock, he wanted to make the introduction to his private garden a good one.

Warren clicked, and shook his head a smile on his face. "No, I just am not used to anyone coming here but her and I." When he felt the hard beak against his cheek, he crooned under his breath. When he said the flowers were lovely, he looked back at them. "I planted them, after we met." he said softly, turning, and placing his head over Lock's.

Warren smiled, and lowered his head, it eye's gleaming as he slowly approached Lock. But as he got closer, he sped up and let out a soft almost growling sound, but playful none the less, though those who did not know him, would have mistaken it in his growl voice for meanness, or anger. It was his eyes that gave him away, the playfulness of the game, and the love for whom he played it with.

Lockhart smiled as the other growled, watching him closely. As the other approached, he moved away keeping up with Warren's speed. He gave a soft chirp as he ruffled his tail feathers.

Warren's smile, and determination only grew as he was teased. He watched those tail feathers with determination, and with a snap his wings unfurled. It incresed his speed, as his feet skimmed the ground, in low flight. He laughed, as he attemped a controled dive into Lock.

Lockhart remind in the ground as kept running. He laughed as he kept running, knowing Warren's speed was shortening the distance between them, but he didn't care.

Warren landed inches from lock, and tapped the back of his head with his beak. "Got ya." Suddely his big form snaked under Lock, and he stood so that the other gryph lay straddled across his back. "You dont weigh any more then a Mite my love." She smiled, and turned, leading him back to a small pond in the center of his garden.

"Awww..." Lockhart chuckled as he fell the light tap thought let out a loud wark when larger lover snaked under him. He stared down at him with a playful glare. "Now, just cause you are bigger then me! I eat plenty!"

Warren laughed, and bounced his back. "Maby.. But you never know. I never see you eat." He bent, and slid the smaller male from his back as they came to the pond. He crooned, and lay his neck across his. "MMmmmm, What would I have done if I haddn't found you."

Slidding off his back, the male sat down by the pond, still glaring playfully towards him. "Well...I hunt at night...maybe that's why you have never seen me eat..." He nuzzled his head upwardly. "...look after more foals...?"

Warren shrugged with fake exasperation, "Mayhaps." He looked down at Lock, as he mentioned looking after more little ones. "I love Easse's but even they cant give.." He paused to give his next words more meaning. "Certain companionship." He crooned, and lay down next to him.
