Prologue

Geneva...a city filled with people who came to this once lavish place in order to overcome their fears. Instead, the exact opposite happened. Humans grew more fearful and droves the ones they feared into isolated areas of the city. Werewolves were left to rule the undergrounds while vampires, forced to live in ghettos, walked the streets with humans. Once a safe haven for vampires and werewolves, Geneva became plagued by the humans fear, leading to the boundless discrimination and hatred. In the world itself their has been plenty of bloodshed through war, it is ever so true of this now dying city.
Stuck in a position where the humans felt threatened by the prescence of vampires or werewolves in "their" territory, scientists were hired. They were to create a bioweapon powerful enough to guarantee their control over the "inferior" races. Tired of the constant discrimination and imbalance, the vampiress and werewolves had a few failed attempts of bringing back equality to Geneva. This however, led to a stronger retaliation from the humans. Hunters, those that specialized in killing these "creatures", were hired to keep them out of their area of the city and in their own.
Fifty-two years pass and the war begins again. A new wound, one so deep that it would leave a scar forever, would be cut. With the completion of the bioweapons near, the humans already began to feel even more superior. All that was needed was a human host who had DNA that would accepts the alterations of the new string containing both werewolf and vampire DNA. This project is known as the Yukaikami project. So far ten people proved compatible but only three could accept it without dying from the shock.
