This is our public apology for the lack of communication. We should be keeping everyone up to date about what is going on. We've had a rough couple of years. The staff is working on getting Shimakon set up for this year. Last year we jumped the gun and posted a date when we shouldn't have. If you pre-registered, you will not have to pay when we have Shimakon. It takes about 20k to run a one weekend convention. We are working on getting the other 18k. When we have Shimakon, we don't want the attendees to be disappointed. We'd rather take the time and have a good convention. Sorry for letting you down for the past 2 years. The lack of the communication from is is annoying. We're working on that. From now on, we will be posting up more info about the various events that happen in the valley along with our own.
