::Snow walks, deep in thought about her situation. She wasn't about to give up. It wasn't her style. With the demise of the building she was planning to use, it certainly did put a kink in her plans. Then, as if by some magical force, a large brick building comes into view. Although it's appears to quite old and quite abandoned, the building appears to be in good shape. Snow runs up to the building's door::

A Town Hall and Civic Center? Here?

::Snow smirks::
This is perfect.

::She tries the door and it swings open for her. She enters the building and after her eyes take a few moments to adjust, she surveys the interior::

This place.. it's spectacular! Look at these hardwood floors and these windows! Stunning!

::The first thing Snow sees when she enters the building is a large, open lobby area. Along one wall is a row of chairs and tables. The remains of two long-forgotten potted plants flank a row of large windows. Late morning sunshine streams through the windows and makes the dusty area seem that much brighter. Snow notices there is a small reception desk on the other side of the room. She investigates it before turning to survey the rest of the building::

::Snow takes off down the left side hallway. An old wooden stairway lies just left of the lobby. Beyond the stairway, the hallway seems to go on forever. Snow can't even see the end of the hallway and no matter how long she walks, she just sees more doors. Each room had a large, heavy wooden door with a frosted glass window. It appeared that at one time, some of these doors had names on them but time had worn those away long ago. Snow treks her way back to the first door on the left hand side of the hallway. She opens it and finds a large office::

Wow..

::Snow sits in the dusty chair, opens the desk drawer and finds a wealth of information::

Instruction manual? Deed? History Book? Keys? Security System information?
There is something about this place. It just gives off a good vibe. I wonder why it was abandoned. I have my guesses.

::Snow pockets the keys, books and instructions::
I'll be needing these later. This room.. I think it's going to be a perfect office for me although this whole building is covered in layers of dirt and neglect. I'm going to need some help. At least this place has security according to the manual, although I'm sure it needs an upgrade after all these years.. however many it is.

::Snow exits the office and stares off down the hallway::
It's almost as if there is no end to this hallway. Reminds me of my office back in Fabletown. Who knows what all is down this hallway. You'd need a map and who knows what's upstairs. I'll wait until I get some help and then we can start exploring this place.

::Snow walks in whistling happily and struggling to carry a large box. She puts an "open" sign on the front door and begins cheerfully unloading the items from the box she brought in. She begins to sing, which isn't her strong suit.. as she starts sweeping up the spacious lobby area::

:walks in and looks around with her nose crinkled:

You could use some supercleaning in here.

Whew.. I'm never getting this thing clean. I should have hired a cleaning crew or something..

Hi!

I'd never been in here before either until yesterday. Funny how I'd never noticed this building here before.

From the paperwork I've found in here, it appears to have been a gathering hall and some city offices for the Nexus.

::Snow gestures to the lobby they're standing in::

Judging by the layers of dust in here, it must have been a hell of a long time ago. I've been cleaning it all day but not much progress due to a well meaning son. He meant well, but... he ended up blowing dust over the areas I'd just cleaned.

I figured that the Nexus could use a civic center and a town hall type building, so I'm going to try and revive it. There's space in here for almost anything.
