First off, I recommend you have 200k-However much to vend.
One thing you should look at is the time of what the lowest seller's item is. If the item has been there for let's say 6 hours, you're better off finding another item. Items that you get from a chance item shouldn't be vended until the box they come from is out of the cash shop. Evolving items should almost never be vended, due to the fact there's more than one generation. The only time I recommend buying items that never sell is when it's mispriced. Below are items that should help / be bad to vend with.

Them good items:
OMFG
Winged Anklets
Kiki
Box Sets
Old, well known Mc's

Them bad items:
Evolving items
Separate boxed items
Any Blessing items
Envelopes
Naginata
Anything that's over 3mil (Takes too much time)
The Mp3 items
Orinkage Hurricane!
