 You are attacked by your first monster and the only parent of yours that you've known tells you that there is something that they want you to know. They don't know how to tell this to you, so they just come out and say it. Your mother or father tells you that you are a Half-Blood, and that your other parent is a god. You are stuned and don't know what to say when your parent tells you that you have to go to Camp Half-Blood over the summer and you have to train so that you can make it out in the world. You don't know what to do, so you just go to the place that your parent told you to go, and find out who your godly parent is. While at camp, you meet others who are like you in a way. Welcome to Camp Half-Blood.

My depression worsened and my grades started to slip. I was ten when I was attacked by my first monster, but only defeated it because a Satyr found me and gave me a sword to defeat it. I was then taken to camp where I learned that Hades was my father.

To him I just took up precious breathing air. If I was on fire,he would let me burn,he could care less. After fighting my first monster,I came home afraid hoping,for some reason,that my father would help me. As soon as I came home he saw my condition and walked up to me slowly. Instead of hugging me like a good parent should,he slapped me in the face. He started yelling at me, saying that I wasn't even his child. He then, happily,sent me to Camp Half-Blood.
