He was in fact not the last deputy of the Moon pack and was actually and outsider, but was aloud to see his Mate and pups every so often. He has no idea that Myu was born although he was an assumption, but can not since he has a son her Dagger who's mother is Rapier. He wants to see his other mate Brushfire who is his true love.
