i wrote two not very long poems, one is an epitaph and one is just a freestyle poem. hope you like and feedback is greatly appreciated :

A shadow amongst souls

I am a shadow amongst souls
memories of a broken past are all i see
i drift aimlessly through life deprived of emotions
No longer can i comprehend the difference between the good and the bad in the world
"I love you" is just another meaningless lie to my ears
Dead or Alive its all the same
For all the souls never see the shadows regardless
While they sleep and dream happy dreams, we shadows continue to roam the earth looking
For the one thing we lost in the fires of life.
And without this vital piece, i am and forever will be, just a shadow amongst souls

An Epitaph For a Shadow

Here Lies
The broken hearted
The soul departed
Angelica Camacho
Not a friend nor a foe
A silent shadow
That searched for her purpose high and low
Always searching never found
So she passed into the night with out a sound
But do not weep for her
For she was just unlucky and contracted a disease without a cure
Depression- the disease of the mind
A raging killer of a different kind
So now her shadow roams among us
Till eternity from her final dawn to our final dusk
