Gabriel glanced around and rubbed the side of his neck. After a minute, he let out a sigh.
"Why are we here again?" he asked for the fifth time.
Marine rolled her eyes. "Because. Graveyards are cool and because Nanook's not here for me to drag him around. So you're his replacement until he gets back here again."
Gabriel sighed again and crouched in front of an old headstone, brushing some ivy from the engravings.

"Hanging out in graveyards. That's not strange at all." Shin said with a small smile. He hung his leg over the branch that held him and tipped the blade of grass between his lips upward.

"Not strange?" Marine repeated evenly, not even glancing up at Shin, "What kind of isolated and terribly deprived world do you live in?"

Marine looked back over at the grave she was crouched in front of.
"Hey. You guys know who this was?" she asked quietly. Gabriel glanced up, then sighed and trudged over to her.

Nii sat against a tree, next to Phoenix.
Jay-lynn watched the others from a tree branch, not really up to going to talk to them.

Gabriel raised a brow.
"Dunno', Marine. Who was Dakota?"
Marine traced her fingers over the letters. "Thought you had the legends memorized," she said softly. Gabriel blinked.

Nii and Phoenix leaned their heads more towards the graveyard. Though there were a bit farther away and out of site, they could hear them perfectly.
Jay-lynn blinked and listened intently.

Gabriel's eyes narrowed into a scowl. He flicked his teammate in the back of the head. "That's not even funny."
Marine didn't even flinch as he started to walk away. "That's her crest, isn't it?" she murmured. Gabriel let out a sigh.
"Enough of this, Marine," he muttered, "Even if--"
He blinked, his head slipping slightly to the side as he listened to the transmission that his radio was picking up.
