Earlier this afternoon, i did a healing spell (the one that tulak suggested, in the ritual thread). I burned the paper like it said, and after it finished, i noticed something... On a piece of one of the paper's ashes, there was an imprint of a man, with one horn sticking out of the side of his head, and an expression on his face that didn't appear to be happy, sad, or anything at all. Can anyone offer an explanation? A theory? A similar experience? I'm more than a little unnerved...

Maybe you should look more deeper to see if you notice anything else. Maybe it's a guardian angel or something like that blessing you.

If you do any sort of divination you should try asking that. Things like this can be tricky as symbolism is deeply personal, unique to pretty much everyone. There are a few that are considered "universal" as in death typically is said to represent change, etc. Try meditating on it, see what comes to mind then. That might help you out.

thanks, guys. i was more than creeped out yesterday, lol.
i'll cast a circle and ask my tarot cards, they're usually pretty helpful when i ask them things. i'll try meditation too, but i've never been particularly good at it.
i don't know if it makes a difference or not, but this was the first time i've ever done a healing spell, the first time i've ever done a ritual for he new moon, and the first time i've added communion into the service. i wonder if it has anything to do with those...

Things are mysterious. It could just be a sign that someone is there. I had an incredible experience last autumn. It was the first time I wrote out my own ritual, after I did it, this huge flock of starlings were all over my front lawn chirping so loud. What was weird was starlings had not been at own house all summer and this was right around Mabon.

i was looking at his face, so on my right. the horn was about where the ear is on an average human, possibly a bit higher.
also, i did a tarot reading about it last night, and they basically told me to not worry about it, and to keep studying. i'm not sure what to make of this, but it's good enough advice. i'm just happy that the image didn't mean anything bad, because if it did the cards would've at least hinted at that.
