Squad 3's training grounds is a large field off to the side of the squad quarters. It is a large area, about 3 miles in diameter. It features many terrains, from open fields to forested areas to mountains and rugged terrain. There are also a number of training exercise equipment set up, including sword fighting dummies, obstacle courses, and ranged targets. The majority of all training is done here for Squad 3, and is a popular hangout spot.

Audun arrived at the training grounds, standing at the edge. He stood there, awaiting the arrival of the new recruit. Teaching someone the basics was not going to be easy for him, and he contemplated handing over the new recruit to one of the others, but thought better of it. It would be a good experience for both of them, and hopefully the young man would suit up to be a ranking member of his squad, which was becoming rather rare these days. Thankfully, the Hollows had been fairly quiet as well, so this wasn't too much of a problem. Nonetheless, it was something to be rectified, as the Gotei 13 could not be left defenseless or weak. Thinking of these things, he sat down, and continued to wait.

After a good few hours of walking and getting lost Tehuti finally makes it to the training grounds. "I finally made it Aundun. So what should we start now first?"

Audun opened his eye, looking at the new recruit. He stood up, and taking a fighting stance, unsheathed his blade. To Tehuti he said, "First thing first. I want you to practice the forms. Just do what I do, exactly how I do it. Once finished with that, I want you to go all out on one of the training dummies. I want to see what you are capable of offensively. After that we will work on defense."
Bringing his sword up so that it was at eye level pointing to the right, Audun began preforming the forms.

Tehuti start trying to do the samething Tehuti finds out that it is to difficult for him since his sword wants to be held with the blade running down his arm. Then close his eyes and goes to his inner world to see Musashi Akechi.
"What seem to be the problem my friend?" Musashi says to Tehuti.
Tehuti replys, "I am having trouble preforming the forms Audun has shown me. What am I suppose to do?"
"For forms you will need to hold me like your captain showed you. I will tell you right now learning these forms will help you fight beter and help you defet many enemys. If that is it you should get back to practicing." Musashi says.
With that Tehuti opens his eyes and start working on the forms once again with little problems. After a good hour of practicing Tehuti goes up to a training dummies and looks at it for alittle bit and then flips his sword and starts attacking it with all of his power.

Audun nodded in praise of Tehuti. "Go ahead... go all out. If this were a person, I want you to kill as fast as possible, then move on to the next," Audun shouted to Tehuti.
((Go ahead and describe how you are attacking. How are you holding your sword, what direction are you attacking from, how hard, the area of the dummy that you are attacking, etc. You have full reign, so feel free to get creative. I want to see what you can do, as well as your style.))

"Yes sir." Then Tehuti gets started. First off Tehuti makes sure he has his sword is running down his arm. Then goes up to the first dumy and makes a strick going from the left leg going up to the right shoulder. Next Tehuti quickly turns his blade so he can strick the dumy neck, this time he did not uses a lot of power then he did the first cut. So their is a much more visible cut then the first cut. Then Tehuti quickly turns is blade again and striks the left shoulder and goes to the right leg. This time their was a much more depper cut than the last one, but not as deep as the first cut. Then once again Tehuti turns his blade and slaches the stumic area, but the cut is very similar to the neck cut that the cut is not very deep.
After doing that Tehuti here a voice in his head, "Very good we will need to work on your cuts that go left to right, but I hate thoughs cuts anyway. So it will take time." Then Tehuti goes on to the next dumy and does the same thing. After about 5 dummies Tehuti sits down breathing deeply.

Audun walked over to Tehuti, and sat next to him. "You have skill. And potential. A few things though. While it is true that I said to go as fast as you can, I meant for you to do so at a pace you could manage. That is my fault. For now, I would like for you to study both the forms and techniques. After that, I want you to research which Squad you would like to join. We will work from that point." Audun laid down, his face to the sun. His hair fell back, revealing his eye patch that covered his left eye. Idly he said, "You know, sometimes I wonder. About everything. But never mind that. Do your homework, then come wake me." He closed his eye, breathing deeply.

Tehuti sits up he is told to research a squad to join. "Research. I hate research. What squad do you think I should join?" Tehuti wines to Audun. Then Tehuti gets started on the other form and techniques that Audun has suggested.
(How would you suggest I do this form and technique practice?)

Audun answered without opening his eye, saying, "Again. Do your research. I don't know you well enough to tell you, though I would advise against squads 2, 4, 5, 11 and 12. Go ask around. You should join a squad that fits you, not the other way around." Audun grew silent after that, resuming his 'nap'.
((Go ahead and check out the link in my last post. It will give you a good idea on sword forms. You can just check it out, and do some posts on using some of the forms against a dummy or something. You're actually doing pretty good though, keep it up.))

Tehuti gets and shaks off any gras on him. Then Tehuti leaves the training grounds and heads off to find a squad.
((I will probably work on them after I get in a squad. Thank you.))

Audun felt that Tehuti had left, and sat up from his nap. Yawning lightly he said, "Back to work I guess. I suppose I'd better see if there is anyone else that is in need of help."
With that, he stood up, straightened his uniform, and shunpoed back to the Academy. [Exits]
