Arlighty, after being on both sides of the issue I want to share a few insights.
On educating the public why infant circumcision is wrong, anti circ people, tend to alienate instead of educate. It only damages the cause when we make someone uncomfortable with our ideals.
But, I am passionate about my ideals!
That is awesome! Passion fuels change! However, passion also makes people irritated with you, and when people get irritated they close their minds. Thus alienation.
I will be editing this as long as I try to inform and educate. Have suggestions, PM me ^_^
How Not to Irritate, A Simple Blackrose Guide:
~Ask questions, be friendly. Even if they come off as trollish (more later on that)
~DON'T CAPS LOCK, even if it is cruise control to cool, it is "yelling" within the realm of the interwebnets.
~Don't be snarky, and snippish even if they are.
~Be a nice person, no matter what
~Use Humor to calm a person down, and bring them back from the extremes.
The Common Troll:
They are icky creatures. Throwing gas onto a fire that is already about to explode. I know we can all recognize them. But how do we handle them?!
Troll Slaying 101:
~Treat them as another person. Address the issues they bring up nicely, without snarky shot back, and with good cited info.
~If they start taking low shots, simply ignore them. If you have the self restraint, just don't respond to their posts. If you are like me, and want to slowly pull their nails off with pliers, Gaia as a wonderful ignore function. Make use of it. ^_^

If I come off as trolly to someone it's only because the person before them pissed me off. I really try to be informational not quick to the attack but sometimes I can't hold back D: .
Ugh I'm thinking about getting a mule for these circumcision threads though >_> so if I do go apeshit on someone my account isn't to blame. Not sure though . I've worked on controlling myself quite a bit .
Did report someone today though because they're being flat out immature.

You're totally right. There's just a few comments that piss me off so much. "My son's cawk will look better cut." SO WHAT?! If they think cut penises look better then why don't they just stick to circumcised adults who they're actually going to ********, and leave their son's p***s alone. I mean, why does their sexual preference need to be forced onto their son?! There's no logic in it and if the boy himself thinks cut looks better then he can get himself cut later if he wants to. AN INFANT DOESN'T USE THEIR c**k FFS!
See? It gets me SOOO ANGRY... but I do try so hard to keep my temper. gonk

The Gas Man Cometh You're totally right. There's just a few comments that piss me off so much. "My son's cawk will look better cut." SO WHAT?! If they think cut penises look better then why don't they just stick to circumcised adults who they're actually going to ********, and leave their son's p***s alone. I mean, why does their sexual preference need to be forced onto their son?! There's no logic in it and if the boy himself thinks cut looks better then he can get himself cut later if he wants to. AN INFANT DOESN'T USE THEIR c**k FFS!

Why do I think circumcised guys get really upset when we bring anything about circumcised penises? Because we are right. They feel mutilated, they feel denied, they feel this negatively. It's a part of subconscious memory...and a bit of cognitive dissonance.

Yeah I feel sorry for them. =( I hate when they get upset about it because the abuse seems so impossible to overcome as they can never get back all that was lost. It was their one and only p***s for this life and it really sucks.
