Because Kita won't post it herself, she conned me into posting it. She's shy..-cough- special -cough-.. xp
It's a poem she wrote a while back, and she SAYS it's bad. I tend to disagree, and am posting it TO PROVE HER WRONG. So, guys, please put in your input. biggrin
You came into my life
Without a purpose or a cause
You held out through my temperments,
my anger, and my flaws
You opened up your arms
when I needed you the most
You never left my side,
never to leave your post
Every day you savored,
I savored that day too
Your eyes forever capturing me
in that angelic shade of blue
You tried to be my everything
even when I had it all
You kept your solemn promise
to never let me fall
I came to you for comfort
when the world had tossed me out
I discovered you were gone
without a shadow of a doubt
I lost my truest friend,
my heart did not compare
through those clouded eyes of yours
her trap which she ensnared
my knight in shining armor,
my muse, my blood, my love
My heart had grown so cold
as defeat enslaved this dove
As the world grew much colder
with every passing day,
my faith was slowly dying
from neglect and decay
I waited for your redemption,
the day when you'd return
to thaw this icy witch's curse
and revive this love to burn
The winds of time had changed you
your armor now dull and opaque
You now walk weary on the world
to avoid your old mistakes
Despite your dying steed,
your broken soul, and shattered will
My feelings burn for that same knight
a flame you could not kill
Your words became a breath of life
of which i missed so much
Even if I still long for the day
your soft skin I can touch
You tell me this and that and what
you want to do
Never will you guess that
deep down in my heart
I still love you..
