Hey everyone. smile
So I recently watched "The Cell" and...well the idea of the movie really interested me, and I thought it might make an interesting roleplay.
For those who haven't seen it, they've developed a new form of 'therapy' for people who have slipped into a coma. A therapist can enter the mind of those in the coma, and talk to them and interact with their world. None of it is 'real', so as long as one remembers that, nothing bad can really happen.
In the movie, the therapist is asked to go into the mind of a serial killer, to help them locate the last girl he'd kidnapped.
It can go both ways really, you can either enter someones mind, or invite them into yours. Inviting them into yours was seen as a bit more dangerous, but it's an option. It's also an option to have 2 people enter one person mind at the same time.
As for a "plot" I'm not really sure, I kinda figured everyone could really decide they're own reasoning for having someone enter their characters mind, or inviting someone into theirs. It can be for therapy for coma patients, or anyone who's gone through major trauma. Or it can even be going into the mind of a killer to find something out.

The Cell was awesome. I love the idea. Formulate a kick a** plot for it, though. smile I'm thinking something like ... the real world has something wrong with it, so interaction with others is best done through the mind. Maybe, like, the rules of the world are very strict, or people have become physically weak, or misshapen. Make the idea of going into someone's mind be very alluring and almost essential.
Also, if you know any WoD games, there is one called Changeling where going into someone's dreams is very common. Look into it. ^_^
