Ice Make

Why should you get this magic?: Since Koori was a child, he found that he had somewhat of an affinity for the cold and was extremely sensitive to the heat of the summer season. After talking to various mages and his master, he decided to learn the art of molding magic into ice.
Rp sample using the magic:
"This is it..." Koori told himself. Looking up, he saw a large primate in front of him. Swallowing hard, he slammed his fist into his hand and concentrated his magic power as he began molding the ice. Today was to be his trail to see if he would be allowed to call himself a proper mage or not. "Ice Make: Cannon!" Koori shouted as he moved his hands to create a small cannon in front of him. Several seconds after he created it, the cannon shot out a large chunk of ice towards the large primate he was facing

Much to his dismay, the ice literally bounced off as his opponent charged at him. "s**t..." Koori said, jumping to the side to avoid his enemy, "Ice Make: Lance!" Immediately, a large lance of ice shot out from Koori's hand and towards the gorilla. With an odd piercing noise, the lance shot through the gorilla, forcing it to its knees as it breathed its last breath.

Why should you get this magic?
Why not? It's not like people are fighting over magic types... Anyway, I think it would suit Stratus rather nicely.

Clad in black, hiding in the gloomy shadows of the trees, Stratus examined the situation. Her face twithed into a grimace of discomfort upon discovering the complexity of the security system the building had; not only the alarm system that was so technologically advanced that she had no idea how to turn it off without setting the ear-piercing horns off, but also the IR scanning cameras, covering nearly every singl piece of the surroudings, touch sensors placed on strategical points... The guy who was setting this up must've been a thief himself.

Figuring the despite all the danger, flying up there would be the safest way, she sktched the runes for wings over her - and miraculously grew feathery wings. She'd be like an angel if she wasn't all in black, including the wings which she adapted to the situation. Slowly, she rose up in the air, the magical wings flapping lightly. Stratus had to focus all of her attention into sustaining the wings and leading them; for at her level, such magic was still a bit risky.

Why should I give this to you: I have been through many RPs, and learned how to limit abilities. I enjoy fast characters as well, and Wind feels most suitable to me.
Rp Example:
"You're slowing down, Yakshir" the dragon joked, shooting another blast of wind at Yakshir.

"And you just keep throwing food at me." he shot back, taking in the wind, replenishing his energy. He used that energy to propel himself up into the air, hiding in the light of the sun, hoping to blind the dragon. He appeared as no more than a vague dot in the sky, then came shooting down with another propulsion fired from his feet.

He landed hard on the dragon's head, knocking her off balance and sending her down to the earth. He landed next to her with a low thud, brushing the dust out of his face.

"Are you alright, Cirra? I didn't mean to hit you that hard." he said with concern for his friend and teacher.

"That was quite the blow you gave me," the dragon replied, getting up, shaking the daze from her head. "Your abilities are progressing nicely."
With a final shake of her head, Cirra took to the air. "That's enough for today, we shall continue to the final portion of your training tomorrow." She then flew higher and disappeared from sight.

That was the last time Yakshir would ever see Cirra.

Why should you get this magic? Not a whole lot of other types of magic would go well with dragonslayer without over-powering a character

"You're outnumbered, boy," the dark mage said with a cackle. "You should just give up!"

Yakshir grinned, looking around to the group of mages. "I would hardly consider five against one to be an overwhelming number."
He held his right hand out to the side, and with a surge of magic, summoned a long, broad-headed spear.
"And now I believe we are on even grounds." he mocked, taunting the other mages with a 'bring it on' motion.

He took one mage down before the others had a chance to blink, and when the rest charged, he simply swung his spear in a wide arc, knocking two more off their feet. The others ducked or jumped, avoiding the attack, one getting a solid kick at Yakshir's face, and the other moving for an attack from behind. As he stumbled back, the butt of Yakshir's spear met the fourth mage's face, spinning him around in a daze. Yakshir quickly followed through with a haymaker punch to the mage's mid-section, knocking him down.

He turned to the last mage and grinned. "Now, it appears you're 'outnumbered'."

preferably old style dragon slayer. I realize wind is probably one that's easy to get carried away with, but I also realize that doing that would be no fun, so I would always keep in mind to limit how much I would use the "eating my own element" thing. I'm pretty sure weak little breezes don't do much though, eh?

After searching for what feels like a whole day Cenwen finally found her target, the so-called king of races, Lyriol thanks to how quick he is in a race, something she just took with a lot of salt. After all, the one with the most speed was in her possession and probably burning with anticipation when summoned to race against someone.

As she casually walked towards him some of his guards showed signs of restraining her the moment they got the order or when she tried to do something to do their boss. Pitiful, the need to be protected when you call yourself the king of races When she was in front of her she didn't gave one of the others the chance to say something, the only reason one would come to that place was racing after all, racing in a effort to be the best in racing, be it with or without vehicles.
"I challenge the king of races, Lyriol for a race with honor, around 200.000 gold and one reward of the winners own choosing at the stakes since i don't believe a thing about all those story's and rumors they are spreading about you Lyriol."
Simply glaring at his opponent was apparently his only reaction to her challenge while all the others around her simply laughed, a unknown girl trying to beat the best of them right at the start. True it was kinda funny but she needed something from him for the job and she got a few tips from Belial of how to get someone into complying in the first place.
"If all your gonna do is glare at me i may assume that you are thinking you can't win from me, a new racer with no record in this racing thing?" While keeping her voice calm she kept his eyes locked with hers, smiling sweetly.
If it was one thing that all man seemed to hate, then it was being provoked into being cowards in front of others, especially when those others their underlings where so it came as no suprise when he got in his race-car and mentioned that he wouldn't be going easy on her since she was a beginner.
Simply smiling, she pulled out Uriel his card, mumbled his summon-phrase Uriel the light and ignored the looks of the surrounding people.
"Uriel, if you would be so kind to race against this Lyriol i would be quite grateful, maybe even be grateful enough to race against you."After that, she turned towards Lyriol with a neutral face. "I hope you don't mind it that i let him race against you?" Without saying anything he went to the starting-line, waited for the start-sign and started his car while Uriel waited a minute before using his speed in the race, which needlessly to say he won with ease while shaming the racers and embarrassing their leader in the process. After-all, the summoned creature did not use any magic or vehicle and still won with a lead of 6 minutes before the other one arrived at the finish against a vehicle.

Guild: Is currently looking for a guild that has a cafe like feel to it where she can cook. She was in a chef's guild for a brief while. Someone insulted her cooking and the resulting fight called for her expulsion.

Why should you get this magic? Because I am the most deserving- hehe just kidding. Because I really wanted a summoning sort of magic. I will not godmod, and I basically want to have a character that wants to obtain the jade keys so that leaves me room to be a bit creative and use my knowledge of Chinese legends and what not. If needed I can help create a list of what which of the Jade keys does what.

Mina walked down the crowded streets of the latest town she had wondered into hoping against all hope that by some miracle she would stumble upon a jade key. What better a jade key in the hands of someone who didn't know what they had and would sell it for next to nothing.

Smiling at the thought she cast her brown eyes towards the shop windows showcasing the latest trends in dresses, for some reason looking at the ruffled pink skirt suddenly made her want to make peach buns. Shaking away the thought she made her way deeper into the town's center seeking out a currently elusive magic shop.

"Hello." A voice called drawing Mina's attention towards a pair of boys maybe a year or two older than her, they smiled charmingly and waved her over towards them. They looked like a pair of host club rejects but perhaps they could lead her in the right direction. "New in town cutie?"

Mina smiled brightly as she rocked on her toes and nodded brightly. "Yep, I'm looking for any magic shops. Do you know where it is?" She asked tilting her head to the side her hair falling over onto her shoulder.

"No, but I do know that you had better hand over all of your jewels." The first said pulling a knife from his pocket while the other moved in behind her taking a firm hold of her shoulder.

The smile never left her face as she held up her hand. "Okay okay, I'll give you something good." She reached for her neck holding up her most prized possession the jade key her grandmother had passed down onto her. "Open the gate to the monkey. Sun Wukong!" She said keeping the cute twinge in her voice that sounded frighteningly chilly and poisonous.

The green key attached to the silver necklace began to cast a pale light at the end of the teeth in the shape of a keyhole. In a blast of light and smoke accompanied by a small audible pop a form appeared in thin air, there slightly crouched before them was a man...no not a man a monkey, a monkey man dressed rather simply in red and yellow street clothes, a large red bo staff slung lazily on his shoulders.

"Eh, whadda ya call me for?" He asked picking his nose with his pinky.

"These guys are bothering me." She whined lightly her eyes and face dropping to give her best puppy dog look. "Take care of them for me and I'll make your favorite banana creme puffs."

The manly chimp pretended as if the promise of creme puffs didn't appeal to him though the drool dripping from the corner of his mouth contradicted it, with a heavy sigh he moved from side to side stretching his legs. "Alright then. But I want double the usual ration." He said twirling the staff over his head then charged forwards---
