Okay, this will be sort of like the artistic version of the Special K challenge. except, instead of losing weight, you'll be learning to draw better.
Here's what you do:
Step 1: Find some way of generating a random number (AKA, a pair of dice, the spinner from your Life board game, something) and take note of how many numbers it has (I will be using a 20-sided die I bought a while back, so I clearly have 20 numbers)
Step 2: For as many numbers as you have, write down a singe body part and give it a number, like.....
1:Arm
2:Eye
3:Foot
And so on.......
Step 3: Twice a week, generate a random number using whatever method you chose, and draw AT LEAST ONE ENTIRE PAGE of whatever body part you came up with. (AKA, you got a 3, so draw #3 on your list) Then mark that off of your list, (If you get that number again, just get another number) and add it to a second list. This second list will be kept for some time, so keep it safe. Also, keep them in order of when you drew them.
Step 4: After a few weeks, you should have gone through your entire list, so, using that second list you made, cycle back through again.
I did this last summer and it did a LOT for my drawing, so I'm going to make it a permanent part of my drawing calendar, and I encourage you all to give it a shot and see how things go for you.
Clearly I still make mistakes, but I make FAR fewer than before I did this.
