Hello friends,
I am in need of a Steampunk character to dress up as for a convention I am going to in the month of June. Seeing as I am new this, I have no idea who to go as. Does anyone have an ideas as to who I shall go as so I can start on making the costume? And any tips for me?

well, i think your taking an... interesting approach to this.
there arnt many "Steampunk" character out there to go as, but i dont see why you can't put together an outfit that is steampunk and go as your own persona. it is what most (if not all) the members of this fine guild do when we go out! XD
plus, making your own outfit is easy, creating an outfit which is a good resemblance of an existing character without paying out the nose for it, is hard... especially with such a limited choice of existing "characters" to begin with
