Elizabeth's father was a famous violinist and her mother, a famous singer and dancer. She was their shining star, as she could do all three and more. Sadly, before her father had become rich, one of his rich friends had supported him and her mother, helping them get the fame they had been yearning for. Now, nineteen years later, the man had come back for a favor in return for the one he had given them. Elizabeth was to marry his son. That didn't go over very well with her, so the moment she could, she escaped the house, only to be kidnapped and taken to the slave shop.
