All Kindred share the ability to shape-shift. They can be wolves or birds of prey at will. They can control thoughts to remove memories, or use alchemy, (prepared by the Nosferatu,) to put ideas and information into humans' heads. When they've fed properly, they can spend almost a day in the sunlight. They heal their wounds best when they've fed. As an added precaution to hide their identities, properly fed Kindred have warm skin and beating hearts, and the ability to digest and enjoy solid foods.

You do not kill Kindred with holy water. To kill Kindred, one can use the following methods:

1. Stake the Kindred out in the sunlight.

2. Keep the Kindred out in the sun too long. (Nearly impossible to do unless the Kindred is marked for Final Death.)

3. Phosphorus gun (Very big, loud, destructive, and the fastest way to do it.)

4. Decapitation (Difficult, but often used to execute criminals.)

5. Starvation. (This cannot be inflicted upon Kindred, but they do SOMETIMES find themselves in a situation where they would starve for blood.)

6. Fire. (Lock them in a building, then burn it to the ground. Decisive, but not necessarily effective, since buildings have windows Kindred could easily jump from.)
