1. Never take more blood than you need.

2. Never tell humans we exist.

3. Murderers will be sent to Final Death.

4. Never force an Embrace on a human. They must consent to the Embrace, and fully understand what it will mean for them.

5. Before attempting an Embrace, obtain permission from your Prince or Princess.

6. If a human uncovers the Masquerade, they must be controlled, Embraced, or killed. (Make them forget whenever possible.)

7. Any Kindred caught breaking the Masquerade will be put to Final Death.

8. The third law goes for Kindred as well as humans. Kill one of your own kind in cold blood, and you will be killed.

These are the basic laws of the Kindred. They are to be obeyed at all times.
