Ok, I really have been troubled by this throughout the storyline of Rosario+Vampire.

So this goes back to the first season of R+V, when Tsukune turns into a "Ghoul" from receiving too much vampire blood from Moka (I don't remember the chapter for anyone who needs a reference point. Sorry, it's been so long since I have read that chapter.). The question is simple, did Tsukune turn into a Ghoul or has he become a developing vampire?

PLEASE HERE ME OUT BEFORE YOU BEGIN GOING CRAZY FROM THIS RADICAL THOUGHT.

Now, lets think about this for a bit. A Ghoul; defined as a graverobber, and from Muslim folklore as a loathesome creature that feeds on corpses. Both, Ghoul and Vampire, are similar, in that they devour on blood, but on top of that the ghouls devour flesh. The storyline of R+V, defines Ghouls as the ancestorial monster of the Vampires, coming from Moka's statement: "Tsukune has become a Ghoul, a Vampire's original form." (The quote wasn't said exactly like that, but along those lines. She was also giving the idea that a Ghoul to a Vampire, was like that of Caveman to a Human. Meaning: the origin of the proud and civilized Vampires came from a neanderthal of a Ghoul.)

However, though R+V made the Ghoul as an ancestor to the Vampires, most of Vampire myth shows Ghouls as servants to the Vampires. What once was a human, then drained of its blood by a vampire, dies and turns into a Ghoul which is under a Vampires control, as a servant.

Now back to the storyline of R+V, when Tsukune became a "Ghoul", it was apparent that Moka did not have control over Tsukune (If you do not understand why Moka would have control over Tsukune, read the paragraph above this one. It should explain.). Now, if Moka, the Vampire, didn't have control over Tsukune, the ex-human now Ghoul under Moka, than what does that make Tsukune?

Is Tsukune a Ghoul, or is he actually developing into a Vampire, who does not have control over his own powers. Because if he was human and is now converting over to a vampire, would that mean his Vampire powers have overwhelmed him for the time being and he has no control over it.

So, with that said, what do you think that Tsukune is? I know I wrote a lot, and I am 99.999...% sure that I have lost someone and/or everyone on this subject. Just please, take all these arguments into consideration, when debating on what Tsukune has become. Also, please add your feedback, your opinion is important, and I would like to hear what you have to say, as well as everyone else. Please state your reasons as well.

I would have to say that, thats hard to say... He did turn into a Ghoul but then was not cured but cleansed somewhat and now he has that bracelette that keeps him from going insane and killing everyone... sooo I dont think he is a vampire... but not a Ghoul maybe a new hybird.. somewhat...

Hmm..... it would seem that this post has lost its interest. Does anyone else have an opinion?
