I guess you could have a recruiting contest, like whoever recruits the most people by a certain time limit receives "x" for winning.
Or for each person someone recruits give them gold or an item?

Get the guild member to get a link to the person they inviteds page or get the new people recruited to send you a message saying who invited them. I'll try and think of more ideas. But I'll help donate money if you go with it.
