Hueco Mundo, the vast expanse of desert which has random placed bone like things jetting out from the sand that appear to be something like trees. Off in the distance the Forest of the Meno's can be seen and is included as a part of the battle area should the combatants wish to move into the dangerous area for battle.

[Seems to be my favorite place to fight as of late. >.>]

Umi appeared suddenly about fifteen feet in front of her opponent. "I see that you have a few little extra toys with you." She chuckled as she bent forward and touched her toes with ease, she then stood up and stretched her arms out to her sides followed by bending down to touch her toes a few more times. The next time she stood up straight it was followed up with bending backwards and cracking her back, it popped multiple times all the way up her spine, she then returned to standing straight up. "So then, would you like to take the first move?" She asked as she placed her right hand on the tsubasa of her Zanpakuto. With a smile she tilted her head from side to side and cracked her neck.

"You are polite, I like that." She smiled and winked as she moved her hand and slowly began to withdraw her sword from its sheath, when the sword was half way out of the sheath she disappeared in a blur. An instant later she was about a foot above Kiwi with a two foot distance. Her sword was held in both hands above her head, as she moved closer she also swung the sword downward in a helm breaker type of slash, however when she was about a foot away she used shunpo once more to move down to the ground standing a foot away from him with her sword in mid-swing, moving in a left to right motion. The swing had enough force behind it to throw off a nice amount of wind which caused the haori around her waist to flutter as well as sand to pick up off the ground. She knew her attack would be easily countered, but they were just starting off.

"I guess you never knew that I used to be a member of the Second squad." She chuckled as he brought the scabbard of his sword downward, using it as if it were a hammer. Her sword clashed into his and she used that to her advantage, as they connected she let her feet slide on the loose sand of the desert and then added more force, pushing her to the side and dodging the strike from the scabbard. "Honestly I much prefer hand to hand combat than using swords." With a quick and fluid motion she replaced the sword in her scabbard. "Now then shall we get a bit more serious?" She raised her right hand and pointed her index finger at Kiwi, a blue aura flared up around her hand but quickly focused into a white orb at the tip of her finger. A concentrated bolt of lightning sprung forward from her finger. Before the bolt of lightning had a chance to reach Kiwi Umi had already moved. She was now on the opposite side of Kiwi and she fired off another bolt of lightning.

As the wall of sand came up she pushed off the ground backwards, moving with enough speed to throw up a trail of sand. His using the sand to block her sight before an attack was a common tactic and in a way disappointed her. As she moved backwards a purple ball formed in her hand. "Haien." She threw it forward into the wall of sand created by her. As the fire hit the sand the immense heat it generated melted the sand. With the sand now molten and becoming glass she smiled and aimed the palm of her right hand at the center of the molten glass. A sphere of air formed at her palm. "Tenran." The sphere of wind shot forward into the molten glass, which rapidly cooled it and then shattered it. The shattered glass was then picked up by the cylinder of wind and added to its destructive capacity. The immense number of shards of glass would rip through flesh if it touched Kiwi.

When he appeared throwing the kick she bent backwards to avoid the kick, by the time his foot was near her she was completely laid back. When he changed sides to kick her in the rib his foot glided completely over top of her, just barely avoiding hitting her. As his foot cleared her she placed her hands into the sand and followed by bringing her legs into the air, while she was in the middle of preforming the flip she released two white orbs of energy into the sand, throwing up a huge cloud of sand around Kiwi. The blast that threw the large amount of sand into the air also pushed her up into the air, this set her into a flip that was un-aided by her hands. When she landed on her feet she raised her right hand towards him. The blue reiatsu flared up once more around her hand and arm in a very controlled manner. "Kongōbaku." The blue energy converged into her hand and then a red orb formed and immediately fired forwards towards the cloud of sand. The sand was engulfed by fire and unless Kiwi had moved as soon as the cloud of sand had been thrown into the air he would be trapped in the glass.

Following up her lovely little glass trap a yellow energy crackled and roared as it came to life in her hand. "Hadō # 63: Raikōhō." The crackling energy shot forward in a huge beam of yellow lighting, aimed for the glass. This would likely be the last time she used the glass trick, though it was a very fun combination to use it was only something you could use a few times before it was too predictable. "You have to be more tactical!" She shouted with a chuckle as the lightning moved towards the glass.

[The white orbs were Hadō # 1 by the way. xD]

The thunder attack combined with the two balls of what appeared to be Kiwi's Shikai would be a slight problem. Not knowing what the balls were capable of yet she didn't want to let them hit her. Taking the Kidou would be the better option merely for giving her time to view his shikai's powers. However she did have an idea on how to avoid taking any large amount of damage, and still avoid touching the balls that made up his Shikai. She jumped backwards to give her a little more time to prepare her Kidou. A bright blue aura forming around her hands. "Hyōga Seiran." A huge burst of ice came forth from her hand. The Ice type Kidou was powerful enough to break through Danku, so for this purpose it would at least cancel out most of the Hiryugekizokushintenariho. Canceling it all out was not likely since she had not put nearly as much concentration or reiatsu behind hers. The other purpose of this spell was to freeze the two balls, and also knock them both off of their paths. Her plan worked. It altered the path of the two balls and caused them to collide with the sand behind her. A small burst from Hiryugekizokushintenariho made it through to hit her in the left shoulder.

Her left shoulder was red and slightly singed. A small amount of smoke rolled off her shoulder as she narrowed her eyes slightly as a small smirk arose on her face. "Shio o Ageru." The sword that was on her side melted away into a blue liquid that looked much like water. The watery substance moved like a snake and wrapped around her right hand from the middle of her fingers up to her elbow. The water then turned into gold hand wrappings that went over the entire area the water had covered. A blue armor then formed covering the back and palm of her hand as well as half of her forearm. She then extended her arm out in front of her. As she did this chains wrapped around the armored part of her arm. Three chains dangled downward with diamond type blades at the end of them.

She laughed when he asked the question. "If I am in any shape to do so, there is no need to worry. I would not leave you here." She lowered her hand to her side as he moved towards her. A bright blue aura surrounded the gauntlet that made up her shikai. "Cheen Dansu" Swirling torrents of water wrapped themselves around the chain. They whipped through the afterimage he left in front of her. A grin crossed her face as her image flickered. The ball he had thrown seemingly stuck to the leg, but moments later fell to the ground. She was now positioned above him with a blue orb around her fist. "Taki." She thrust her fist forward towards Kiwi as a large wave of hardened water was thrown towards him. The water was easily capable of breaking bones if a full hit was taken from it. In addition to the wave of water the three chains sprang to life and shot forward towards Kiwi. They were aimed so that one hit to either side of him and one behind him, attempting to trap him in place so that the wave of water could hit him center mass.
