This is where Zeus's children live. Zeus is the king of the gods so his children are very powerful and since he is god of the sky his children can do all sorts of weather-y things.

Katsuki got bored of the lake and decided to go to her cabin. Which didn't seem to be much fun since she was all by herself in there. She was hoping that someone would come as a child of Zeus with her. In fact the only thing that she really liked about camp was capture the flag, mainly because she was good at fighting with people.

Tara walked into her cabin. She saw no one there except for a girl who looked bored. Tara hid her right hand behind her back as she pulled her one small bag into the room. The reason Tara always hid her right hand from everyone was because she didn't like the questions that it attracted. how did that happen?, can you still write? how do you control it? were just the beginning of the boat load of questions she got from the people she met. Tara flexed her fingers behind her back.

((I have two characters now: Amber- the blind one- and Tara))

Amber threw open the sky blue door to Zeus's cabin. She stood still, listening for movement. "Is someone there?" Amber asked nervously.

Tara spun around to face the door as she heard a familiar voice. Sure enough, it was Amber. Tara smiled, knowing that if she made a sound with her feet, Amber would pin point her, and lunge with her glistening swords. So instead, she slowly reached out her right hand from it's place behind her back, and tapped her metal fingers on the her bedpost. It made a clinking sound each time her mechanical fingers hit the metal.

Ellende was close behind Amber. As she followed her through the door, a familiar sense of dread filled her. Ellende hated the Zeus kids, and the feeling was mutual. They're all snobby just because their dad is the king of the gods, Ellende had thought spitefully on more than one occasion. Their feelings about her had not been improved by frequent practical jokes. Shaking her head slightly to clear it, Ellende looked around the cabin. She frowned at the girl. There was something...odd about her. Hand on the hilt of her sword, she stepped up near her. "Who are you?" Ellende asked the girl, trying her best to look menacing.

((Have you made a profile for Tara?))

Tara snapped her head around to face this new girl, then smirked. A Hermes child, she posed no threat. "I wasn't gonna hurt her" Tara pouted. "But I can't ensure the same for you." She smiled evilly. Tara drew a dagger with her right hand, and started to clean her nails with it, humming a song as she worked.

Amber froze at the sound of Tara's voice. She knew this was all Hades's fault. Amber hid her shock with a mask of annoyance. "You seem to have a knack for coming back from the dead." She said, stepping in front of Ellende, a protective gesture.

((I'm not sure... she's my character in another guild, so I might of forgotten to make another profile for her- I'll check- thanks for reminding me. Also, this post might make a little more sense if you look at the posts in Hades's palace))

Ellende's hands curled into fists. She well recognized the disdain in this girl's voice. Everybody said that she was just a good-for-nothing Hermes kid, and Ellende had many times sworn that she would prove them wrong. Ellende was abruptly jerked out of her memories by what the girl said. "Excuse me?" she asked, arching her already upturned eyebrows. "You won't be hurting anyone." All the same, Ellende gripped her sword hilt tighter, drawing comfort from its familiar feel. She didn't unsheath it--yet--but it was nice to know that she was ready to at any moment. Ellende pushed Amber away. She didn't need Amber to protect her. As far as Ellende was concerned, she knew best in just about any situation. Oh, how wrong she was. Turning to Amber suddenly, she crinkled her forehead. "Coming back from the dead?" she repeated, that having been the first thing that registered to her. "Her coming back from the dead?" Ellende repeated, hearing the rest of the sentence. "What's going on here?"

Tara smiled. Enjoying the attention she was getting. But deep down in her heart, she was just a lonely, troubled girl, searching for someone to love her. "relax I was just joking, I would never waste my presious dagger on your throat, anyways, I'm only here because I'm a daughter of Zeus, right Amber?" Tara smiled devilishly at Amber.

Amber was so shameful and scared, Tara's threats washed right over her head like water. Tears streamed down Amber's face, obscuring her delicate features. "I did this to her." Amber whispered, more to herself than anyone else. Amber turned to Ellende. "Remember that day at the swordfighting arena, when I told you about my past?" Amber said carefully, not wanting to anger either of the girls in the room. "Well, I lied when I said that I didn't kill the person Hades told me to- I did kill her. The reason Hades wanted me to kill her was because she had died of a sickness when she was very young, but she came back to life, brought herself back from the underworld. Hades sent me to kill her again and take her rightful place in the underworld again. So I killed her in cold blood, even when she pleaded me not to, and she went to the underworld once again. But she brought herself back- again. So, as punishment, Hades twisted her and made her evil and wrong, and when she came up from the underworld, she was always seeking the love and appreatiation from people that she would never get." Amber finished.

Tara was startled by this, but she didn't show it. She started clapping. "Bravo, very nice story, but we both know we're just childhood friends." Tara lied.

More subconsciously than anything else, Ellende massaged her throat with one hand, wondering how a dagger would feel on it. That was one method of suicide she hadn't thought of. Ellende figured she would have plenty of time to consider the pros and cons of this later, and reverted her attention back to the conversation.

There was still something...wrong about Tara, something Ellende couldn't quite put her finger on. But she pushed this out of her mind, focusing on the tears currently making their salty, glistening paths down Amber's face. As far as Ellende was concerned, this was a far more pressing matter. Nobody was going to make Amber, whom Ellende fancied to be a little sister, cry. But before Ellende said or did anything, Amber spoke. Her tone of voice was careful, controlled, and Ellende listened intently. The entire story was horrifying.

As far as Ellende understood it, Tara had died and brought herself back to life. Hades had sent his least loved daughter, Amber, to do the dirty work and send Tara back where she belonged. Amber had succeeded, yet Tara had managed to rise for the second time. A small part of Ellende wondered how Tara had brought herself back to life, wondered if Jax could do the same thing, but Ellende ignored that selfish part of her mind. Listening closely, she started to make sense of it all. That was what was so wrong about Tara--she was punished by Hades. She was twisted, evil, and always greedy for love and attention.

Tara's claps startled Ellende. Childhood friends, Ellende thought. As if. She loosened her death grip on her sword hilt and looked at both girls warily. "Tara," she said cautiously. "Is what Amber's saying true? I think that you're the one lying, Tara. And I want to know the true story, as you remember it."

Tara was prepared for this question from the girl before the words could form on her lips. Tara smirked. "The way I see it, Amber's an outright murderer." Tara said, out of many things that Tara was known for, lying was first on the list, though she barley called this lying. "When I was six, I came down with a horrible disease called the Purge. Within two hours of catching it, this disease thickens your blood making it impossible for blood to travel to your heart. Within one week of catching the disease, you will probaly die. Unfortunatly, being a demi-god brings on a few 'side affects'... also it lengthens the prosess of dying. I spend a whole month fighting for my life as this disease made my heartbeats become weaker and weaker." To Tara- and Amber's- surprise, there were tears rolling down Tara's face now too. Memories of her mother and father clouded her mind. Tara quickly wiped the tear from her face- she was slipping, and she knew it, better to continue with the story Tara thought. "I died on my birthday, but by that time, I was relieved when peace came at last."

((sorry I can't finish the post,))

An outright MURDERER?! Ellende wanted to scream. Amber? Never. But somehow she managed to keep her mouth shut and listen. Ellende's eyebrows raised higher and higher as Tara went on. The Purge sounded like something out of a sci-fi novel, certainly not real life. All of the sudden, a teardrop rolled down Tara's face, quickly followed by its wet, salty kin. Ellende reached her hand out and touched the girl's arm. Tara went on. Ellende felt mingled disbelief, sadness and pity--there was almost no way this story could be real, but if it was, it was horrifying. To die on one's birthday, when you were only six... Ellende couldn't imagine anything worse. "Tara," Ellende said gently when her story was finished. Ellende wasn't sure if she should believe her or not. "Tara...is that true?"

Amber nodded at Ellende. She knew the horrible truth about poor Tara. She was ashamed at herself for letting this happen to this girl.

"So anyway, once I got to the underworld, I met up with some of my friends there and they got me back up to the living again." Tara was proud of herself for always being prepared for what life- or death- threw at her. "So you see, It's a bit impossible to kill me." Tara sneered. "But don't worry, I'm on your side. Of course, I may have slightly different reasons for being here." Tara cast a meaningful glance toward Amber.

Tara's story was wild, far-fetched, and completely impossible, but somehow true. What sort of friends could get you from the Underworld back to the world of the living? There was pride in Tara's eyes, a gleam that unsettled Ellende. It's a bit impossible to kill me, Tara had said, an ugly sneer painted on her face. That unsettled Ellende even more that Tara's unmistakable pride for having escaped death. To be honest, she wasn't all that sure she wanted Tara to be on her side. Then again, Tara would make a horrible enemy as well. "Tara?" Ellende said cautiously, still unsure what to make of her. "What do you mean, 'slightly different reasons' for being here?"

((I'm making you do most of the work here...sorry.))

Katsuki got up and walked to the area where the other girls were standing. She didn't want to say anything because they seemed to be talking about something. That at the very least looked interesting. Katsuki didn't like all of the noise in the cabin though. She wished people would leave things like that outside so she could actually relax when she was in the cabin. She did sigh about the fact that she'd be having a roommate. Katsuki didn't want to be seen or heard but she stood there listening to the rest of the story about her new roommate. Katsuki then spoke up a little, "Will you quiet down a little?" She asked in a nice calm way.
