Annapolis is the capital of the U.S. state of Maryland. It has a population of 36,524 and is situated on the Chesapeake Bay at the mouth of the Severn River. Annapolis is part of the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area. It is home to the Naval Academy and many Naval Officers live in the area.

Myou stepped off the Metro and practically ran outside. He took in a deal breath and smiled. He could smell the Chesapeake Bay and he smell of the city. In other words, he could smell his childhood. "Well, this is it." He told Tiff, "This is my home." He led her down the streets to an old house. Myou pulled a key from around his neck and unlocked the door. He shoved it open and mumbled to himself, "Stupid door, always is difficult to open."

"Wow, you have a beautiful home."Tiff told Myou as she stepped over the threshold. She did not really have her own home her past was...difficult to think about. She was happy she had decided to go with Myou, otherwise she would worried herself sick about him.
"What are we looking for exactly, Myou?"Tiff asked looking around and bending down to see a broken picture frame with a little boy and his...mother in it. "Is this you and your mom?" she asked motioning at the boy in the picture.

Myou smiled sadly and nodded. "This was taken when I was around five. I was so proud of Mom because she had been transferred to the Naval Academy." He briefly touched his mother's hair in the picture. He turned from the picture and continued through the house. He found his mother's Navy Cap. Tears came to his eyes as he looked inside it. Inside, there was a picture of himself when he was ten, beaming ear to ear, wearing that exact hat.

Tiff noticed the tears in Myou's eyes and went to stand beside him,"You all right?"she asked carefully. She wasn't sure what had happened to Myou's mother and him, all she could ever gather was that it was bad and he didn't like talking about it. She squeezed his shoulder to show she was there to support him and whispered,"It's okay, I'm here to help."

Myou blinked back the tears. "Thanks, Tiff." He held the hat tenderly. "My mom died a little while ago. We were really close." Myou placed the hat down on the table and looked around the room. He was glad that Tiff was there with him. He would have broken down long before if he didn't have her support.

Tiff smiled at Myou and squeezed his shoulder again."So, what are we looking for?" Tiff asked again to lighten things up. She twirled around in jokingly showy manner until she faced him again. She smiled once more,"You have a beautiful home."she told him.

Myou smiled slightly at Tiff's attempt to make him feel better. "Thanks and to tell you the truth I don't know." He pulled out a piece of paper filled with ruins. "It's a riddle. My mom left it to me in her will. She wrote it in ruins so the lawyers and other people wouldn't be able to read it." He handed it to Tiff and began to recite it,
"A year, my son, you have to wait,
to walk once more through our gate.
And there is something you did miss,
A place, no more, I give you this,
My love flows through forever here,"
He stopped. "That's all I could desipher."

Tiff thought about the riddle."Let's see, you waited a year to come back home and you missed something before. Was there a certain place you were not allowed to go?"Tiff said thoughtfully. She studied the other ruins on the page, what did they mean?

Myou thought for a moment. "I don't think so," he said, "I mean, I was allowed everywhere except when certain people were over. That would have been the living room." Myou stopped for a second. He realized something, "The living room that we demolished because of the mold."

"Did the living room get smaller after you rebuilt it?" Tiff asked," There could be a secret hiding hole somewhere." She looked around and tapped on the wall for emphasis.
Tiff had always liked riddles, but this one was the hardest one she had ever done before. She thought some more as she waited to see if Myou could think of anything.
