While you stay, we have just a few rules we wish for you to abide. Otherwise, you will have to be removed abruptly and immediately. ________________( 1 ) Follow the Guild and Gaia's Rules First and Foremost ________________( 2 ) Murder--that is, death--is going to happen. ________________Be prepared to die, or to kill--but there is something after that...muah ha. ________________( 3 ) Abide the dice rules. This is going to get complicated, ________________but just bear with us and we'll get you to have bloody fun. ________________( 4 ) No descriptive gore, please. ________________( 5 ) No excessive swearing and/or sexual scenes. ________________Do whatever you want within the restraints of reason. ________________( 6 ) Be active and willing to take risks. The enjoyable part is how non-practical it can be. ________________It's up to the "dice of fate". ________________( 7 ) I am the owner of this island and resort, ________________so my rules are that of gods (oh no pun there). ________________( 8 ) I am the god of this island--which means, yes, I will actually god-mode your ________________character on slight occasions in accordance with your dice roll. See the next post. ________________( 9 ) I reserve the right to add more rules as I realize it...I'll make sure you know about it.

What are the dice? You will roll your dice when you find it needed. Not every post will need you to roll the dice. The dice are six 6-sided dice that you roll when you are going to determine your fate that is outside your freewill. Why are we using them? When you roll the dice, you've already committed to a choice. You decided to attack a beast on the island, you decided to sleep without anyone guarding you while you sleep, you go open the red door instead of the yellow door, etc. Will I act out the dices' outcome? No. That will be left to me. I'll narrate your character through the series of events. I shall not go beyond your characters limits, or beneath them, but it will generally match up to the character. What will the numbers mean? Will you cheat?First, no cheating. From either of us. If you post your post and your dice lead to an unfortunate event, then don't rewrite your post. Stand by your fate. I also won't cheat, because below I'll list the numbers and their meanings. I will, however, interpret what this means for your character at that time. What do you mean by "Skills"?Since everyone is different, different things give them different strengths. I tired to simulate that by using either Wisdom, Strength, or Heart. Depending on your character's background, he/she may have a slight advantage/disadvantage over others. Special Cases? These are there so that things don't get boring...and, honestly, if you get these special cases you probably are either extremely lucky or extremely unfortunate anyways and fate is really trying to give you a message there. They may not be used. Who knows. Dice MeaningsNumber________________Effect6 ___________________Death or near-dying 7-10 _______________Neutral--Nothing 11-12 ________________Best Outcome Possible 13 __________________Death or near-drying 14-20 _______________A worse-off outcome 21-25 _______________A better-off outcome 26-30 _______________A worse-off outcome 31-35 _______________Neutral--Nothing 36 __________________Certain death Special Cases:+ Getting a number you or someone had before your roll: ___________________Your outcome is extremely beneficial+ Getting 3 worse-off outcomes in a row per character: ___________________4th worse-off outcome is equal to "death or near-dying"+ Getting 3 better-off outcomes in a row per character: ___________________Someone else will benefit from your good fortunePick A Skill
These skills will be placed on your application and will stay in effect as long as you're in active in the roleplay.
Wisdom You will get to change your dice number on three occasions. Once you use these three changes to upgrade your dice number, you can no longer use them and are at the mercy of the dice. So if you get a near-death or death, you can upgrade to worse-off. If you get a worse-off, you can upgrade to neutral. If you get neutral, you can upgrade to better-off. If you get better-off, you can upgrade to Best Outcome. You can add more upgrade changes whenever you roll a 11, 22, or 33.
Strength Your dice numbers will automatically subtract 3 points unless it is lower than 6. So if your dice total is 11, you will have 8. Also, for any multiple of six (6, 12, 18, 24, 30, and 36) do not apply to you and will be treated as a neutral turn.
Heart You have the ability to save someone from near-death or death. However, when you save someone from a near-death or death experience, your next dice roll will be be downgraded one degree. So if you get better-off, you will get a neutral outcome. If you got a neutral outcome, you will get a worse-off outcome. If you get a worse-off outcome, you will be on a near-death experience or death. You can use this ability as many times as you want.

Well my luvely mortals, I must inform you. That you, are indeed, mortals to this land. Therefore you will die. Maybe not quickly, but you will. If and when you do, you have two options to consider. Consider wisely, my dear. Your afterlife depends on it.Option 1You, the roleplayer, can create a new character and join again. This character can have no connection to your past character, or be the sibling of your former character, or whatever. You have the option to rejoin and can easily be added back in as anyone else. Option 2Your character deceased can sell his or her soul to me and join my resort as one of my tenants. You'll aid me in my on going project, and slowly perhaps know my deep secrets of this island. **NOTE! You cannot become one of my minions unless you have DIED already. So, sorry people who wish to join my demon brotherhood, you will have to wait for the afterlife.

The list of our current esteem guests**Note, I, The Twinge, will not make a profile as I'm playing Sunshine.** Elijah Norman Spelling I am played by Asialk Age: 41 Gender: Male Height: 6'4'' Weight: 238(lbs) Eye Color: green Hair Color: Brown Next-Of-Kin: I no longer have anyone. Your Past: Elijah was raised by his alcoholic father after his mother's untimely death. For years the police had tried to pin the death on his father, but they could never find evidence to prove it. Little Elijah wouldn't talk but he knew. He had watched. His father had killed his mother when he couldn't find his son to beat. For that had been his favorite pass time. Until he was old enough to live on his own Elijah took the beatings from that point on it was what he considered his punishment for not being able to save his mother.
At age eighteen however all of it changed. He changed. He became a monster beyond reason. His first kill was his father. Years of planning gave him the ability to get away with it too. But the beast inside of him did not stop there. It grew until it was a separate entity. Elijah wood became two. He was as a modern day Jekyll and Hyde. He was the Man and the Beast. those were his names for his two selfs. The man was what kept him safe from the authorities and the normal people in the everyday world. That easy little shield between them and the Beast. The Beast was a cold and methodical killer, capable of acts far beyond the scope of the Man.
Over the years he never stopped killing racking up quite a few bodies and a place on the FBI's most wanted list. The top spot in fact. But he never left enough behind to get caught. Never even enough to trace. He had 47 confirmed kills documented by the Bureau and another 29 they hadn't found yet. With all these accomplishments both the Man and the Beast decided it was time for a nice vacation. Your Traits: While the Man is out Elijah is a calm easy going man with a good smile. He can even be considered nice from time to time. However when the Beast is out he is a very different person. A thinker that bases all of his actions on cold and calculated logic. There is a more crazed side to the Beast as well when he preforms a kill it is tantamount to euphoric elation. Usually this change lasts a few minutes then he is back to business. Your Likes: My tools, they help me work My home it keeps me safe The Beast for he is strong Your Dislikes: Loud noises they make life hard People they are too curious the Man for he is weak Your Deadly Sins: If it is not already apparent Elijah is a serial killer to the highest degree. Your one redeeming virtue: I will not harm children Any last words?: What type of prices do you have for ''package'' customers. There are two of me you know. wink Your Biggest Strength: Wisdom - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Nicole Anne Starkweather I am played by LeatrixSage
Age: 32 Gender: female Height: 5‘9“ Weight: 152 (lbs) Eye Color: Amber Hair Color: Blonde Next-Of-Kin: Sister, Marry-Anne Starkweather
Your Past: Nicole was born 27 minutes before her sister on October 23, 1977. Maybe if she had been born 27 minutes later, things would have been different. She was born to privilege, and unlike her sister, saw no reason why she shouldn‘t enjoy it. Wealth and power quickly became the primary drive of her existence. What was, on the surface, a dedicated student and prime example of a young lady, was in reality a ticking time bomb.
It was no secret, around her college, that she got her A‘s from more than just reading books and writing essays. That, however, was the least of her crimes. What tilted the scales was a little too much competition. Amanda Young, a 23 year old woman, married Nicole’s father when she was 23 herself. Where as marry-Anne took it all in stride, Nicole appeared to do the same.
When Marry-Anne found their father dead in the living room mere month’s later, the suspicion fell onto the shoulders of the young, gold-digging wife. Amanda Starkweather-Young currently sits on death row. Rumor has it that Nicole was also investigated, but no substantial evidence was ever found. Your Traits: Personality-- Nicole is charming and smooth. Everything on the surface is polished and perfected to present a businesswoman of class and refined competence. But, she is a changeling in true form. Her appearance is as intoxicating as the brightly colored Venus Flytrap, and she is just as deadly to those simple little flies that are drawn to her. Your Likes: Power, Wealth, and Control Your Dislikes: Being Powerless, the unknown, loosing everything she has.
Your Deadly Sins: Lust, Greed, Jealousy, Gluttony, and Wrath.
Your one redeeming virtue: The only thing that could redeem Nicole is that she knew you treat your valued underlings well, and they reward you with better work, and therefore, more money in your pocket. Where her motives are still, in the end, driven by her own gains, at the very least, she was capable of some off-brand of kindness.
Any last words?: Last words? Not on your life. Your Biggest Strength: Heart

ClaudGustav Schweindemann
I am played by Leid.
Age: 38 Gender: Male Height: 6'1" Weight: 195 Eye Color: Blue Hair Color: Black Next-Of-Kin: My older sister is the only person to really understand and forgive me.
Your Past: Claud Schweindemann was born and raised in Germany. He was a bit on an awkward child, never really knowing how to relate to anyone his own age. He got picked on for his ears being too big, for his corrective shoes, and even for his name. His parents liked the name Claud, but in Germany, it ended up being pronounced as "Clowt" which is just a bit silly for a name.
As the years went on he developed a huge crush on the main girl who teased him through out his childhood. He'd often dream that one day she'd stop teasing him and fall in love with him. This focus made it easier for him to get through school.
As he got older he barely talked to anyone, even withdrawing from his family as something budded inside of him. His ability to sketch led to him sketching pictures he'd be unable to find otherwise. The images were usually innocent, him and the girl holding hands, a little kiss here and there. He'd stare and obsess over the images of his crush until one day he he took it to a whole new level. Claud took out his aggression and love on other people who looked similar to the girl who had always bullied him. The attacks never went to far, mostly violent yelling, some deranged talk of running away together, he'd try to kiss them, but usually break down into tears before long. He continued this a few more times. Each time he'd feel worse and worse and turned to alcohol to drown out his guilt. He moved to America to stay with his sister for a while who had also moved to marry her husband and start a family. Claud lived there for a few months before finding a place of his own. It has been a long time since he has acted on his impulses, but the images still sift through his head and at times he will draw those old drawings.
Your Traits: Claud is a pretty nice guy, rather smart and talented, albeit a bit shy. He has many little hobbies to pass his time so he can keep him mind off of things he really doesn't like thinking about. If left to his thoughts he becomes depressed very quickly, thinking of all the terrible things he has done in his life, from the really bad things, to even things so little as just hurting someone else's feelings. Claud can become suicidal and the different marks across his body, the old gashes from knives, cuts from car accidents, and the one rope burn around his neck, all attest to his failure of trying to remove himself from this world. He tries to cling to his youth with tattoos and some piercings because he knows that once he accepts being an adult fully that he'll truly never have been able to make up for his sins.
Your Likes: A nice hard drink, apples, photography, music, drawing, a good book or film. Your Dislikes: Himself, the things he has done, big social gatherings, letting others down, poorly brewed coffee.
Your Deadly Sins: Wrath; There are times that Claud feels anger toward the girl who bullied him, Lust; Claud is obsessed with this girl, Gluttony; He has become an alcoholic to help him deal with his pain. Your one redeeming virtue: Claud is truly and honestly sorry. He has tried to punish himself for what he has done. He is very loving and protective. If he had never done the things he did, Claud could have been a very happy and helpful person. Any last words?: "Please, forgive me. I'm so sorry. Lord in Heaven, have Mercy on my soul." Your Biggest Strength: Strength

Sunshine Welcomes You
Elijah would wake up in a cozy bed. Once he observed his surroundings, he would notice he was not in his own room. He was actually not dressed in sleepwear either. Instead, he was clothed in a black suit. Stark black jacket with a white undercoat--even a white rose found its place on his collar. The hotel room was brightly colored with soft pink wall paper, and outside he could see a beach that had waves embrace its shore under the clear blue sky. It was as if Elijah had died and waken up in a perfect paradise.
He could examine his room as long as he pleased--but on his dresser he would see a letter, elegantly written, addressed to him. It read, "Welcome Elijah to Vacation Sunshine. Please come down to the beach when you have finished unpacking." Just as he read the final statement, a simple turd-brown suitcase would appear that was not there before. If Elijah opened this suitcase, he would see 152 human eye balls looking up at him.
- - - - -
Like Elijah, Nicole wakes up in a room that clearly was not her own. The room was a pretty pink, very well-kept without a dirt or dust to complain about. She too was not dressed in her sleepwear, but in a sexy red bikini. She would not, no matter how much she tried, get this bathing suit off. Outside she could see the sea meeting the shore. The entire world seemed still and silent, almost peaceful.
After any exploring she did, she would find a letter addressed to her. The note would read, "Welcome Nicole to Vacation Sunshine. Please come down to the beach when you have finished unpacking." Just as she read the final word on the paper, a simple yet ugly suitcase would appear on her bed. If she opened the suitcase, inside she would find books and books of all the classes she took in college. If she opened any of the books, she would find not notes or text--but pictures of her naked teachers (men and women).

Pink.
The entire room was pink.
God, how she hated that color.
How had she gotten here? She wasn’t sure.
Nicole re-read the note in her hand a dozen times before she noticed the suitcase she was pretty sure had not been there before. It was also, she noted, definitely not hers. It was hideous, almost worse than the pink room. Feeling less than pleased with the world in general, she marched across the room to the bed she had awoke in.
There were not initials or markings. Just a plain suitcase. It could be anyone’s. again she racked her brain for how she had gotten here. And what in god’s name had possessed her to wear a red bikini, of all things. Red, how ridiculous, gold would suit her tan so much the better. Setting her obvious lapse in fashion sense aside, she clicked open the suitcase.
And then froze.
Old, tattered, scribbled on copies of her various text books form college stared up at her. And they were hers. The various numbers and dates scribbled on the covers confirmed that. Her little black book copied onto the covers of books she never opened but to sign her name on the inside front cover. Curiosity made her reach inside the suitcase. She lifted the cover of the old Physiology book. The teacher of that particular class had left a note in there, it would prove the books were indeed hers.
But as her fingers did find the appropriate page, the did not, however, find the little love not she sought. Laying spread-eagle over a massive mahogany desk was a very naked version of Mr. Carter. The picture took up an entire page that aught to have had a diagram of the brain, some monotone chapters of nonsense, and the love letter from the same Mr. Carter.
Something between shock and outrage made Nicole shake as she turned the pages, slowly at first, and then madly. Every single page seem to contain nothing but nude photos of one teacher or another in various poses. Sickeningly, poses she herself had been in around said teach in the photo. A kind of rage gripped her as she began tearing the pages from the books. Nude photos flew around the room as she tore them free again and again, until every book was emptied of it’s contents.
When finally the moment had passed, she stood shaking, holding the empty cover of Latin text book. Her eyes made a wild scan around the room. Wild-eyed and breathless, she simply stared at them all. Until her eyes found the note, crumpled in heap next to the suitcase.
She picked it up again, and then snarled.
“All right, you son of a b***h,” ripping the door to her room open, Nicole blindly turned down the hall in search of a way to the beach. She was going to find the b*****d that had made those books, and she was going to teach them a lesson. “Lets just see who the ******** you think you are.”

The Man
Elijah woke slowly as he did every morning, allowing his eyes to adjust to the light and his breathing to assume a normal pattern. However he stopped cold before he even opened his eyes. His breath stilled he was not in his room. The light was coming from the wrong direction.
The Beast
His eyes opened quickly as he sprung from the bed fists up ready for anything that might await him. He saw that there was nobody in the room and dropped his arms to his side, scanning the room more closely now with his eyes. The Man had been right. They were not in their home. This place was far to light. He noticed the letter on the dresser and crossed the room, relaxing.
The Man
He picked the paper up in soft hands reading its contents. His back was to the bed and so he did not notice the suitcase arrive. A couple more times he read the note then looked out the window to see if anyone was on the beach at the moment. There was no one. It was only then that he noticed his clothes. A suit, not uncommon on his figure, but the flower was new. He had never worn one. He plucked the delicate blossom from his collar and was turning to throw it onto the bed when he spotted the suitcase.
The Beast
That wasn't here before. He thought to himself crossing the room again to the bed. Of course the letter had said something about unpacking. This suitcase could be a trap. A bomb or something else to kill him... But that was illogical. Why would someone go to so much effort to move him without his knowledge just to kill him upon arrival. No it was not a trap, and he would open it. As he undid the clasp the smell reached him first. Human blood. As he opened it he saw the eyeballs. There were so many. He picked one up between his thumb and forefinger. He recognized it, but could not remember the girl's name. He crushed it in his fist. Someone was toying with him now. He searched the room for any other clues, the eyes nearly forgotten. He found a towel to wipe his hand off, but little else. He was starting to relax, perhaps the best course of action was to go to the beach and see what this was all about. "I will be close."
The Man
"I know." Elijah walked to his door and opened it, walking calmly to the beach. He would find his way eventually.

The Beach is Where The Fun Begins On Any Vacation
Both Nicole and Elijah would meet on the beach at roughly the same time. No matter what door or path they took in their attempt to the beach, they found their way relatively easily. Just as it seemed the two of them would talk, a figure appeared--walking to to the beach from the water. However, the figure did not look wet or damp or even labored by walking through the waves. He wore a black suit, hands leisurely stuck in his pockets, but a TV on his head. On the TV screen, was a young man's face. He had a wide smile that stretched his face, an eerily pleasant and welcoming smile.
"Ah! My honored guests! Welcome to my Island Resort! It's nice to see you two arrived safely and followed directions so nicely!" He took his hands out of his pocket and placed on hand over the other, bowing his television set to the two of them. "I am Sunshine, the humble owner of this resort."
He put his hands behind his back and brought out two very large objects. In his hand outstretched to Elijah, he held a large battle ax. In his hand outstretched to Nicole, he held a small double-side dagger.
"Take these as complementary gifts. Please do. You will need them shortly." As he said that, gruesome figures began to appear in the distant waves lapping onto the beach. They were--without a doubt--zombies. Not just one or two, but as more waves came in, more bodies followed. Easily a hundred.
"These are lunch guests for the evening. Don't get too disappointed, since we'll have plenty more fun after this orientation. I know you both came to this Island to experience the wonders of the world you haven't experienced--but often times we do things on vacation we do in our everyday lives, no? But do handle yourself well, since those future and newer activities can be a little more strenuous for your bodies." He clapped his hands as he left his spot and headed to the resort. "Use your weapons well! We do not supply replacements at Vacation Sunshine!"
Sunshine kept walking. If either of them tried to touch them, they would find he was transparent. They could watch him disappear back into the resorts main building, or they could turn their attention to the zombies beaching. One by one the zombies arose and headed towards Nicole and Elijah. Oddly enough, none of them had their eyes...
[[OOC: This is where the fun begins! Roll your dice on your next play. Feel free to roleplay as much as you seem fitting, but keep in mind that you won't know your exact fate until you have posted.]]
