What in the WORLD makes people believe this? Everywhere I go: "You aren't bisexual. It's not real." "You're attracted to one or the other to pick already!" "It's a phase and you're confused." "You just want attention." "You're a slut who wants threesomes."
And the worst part is, some of these same people are all for homosexual pride and whatnot. But god forbid you say you're bisexual.
I really want to know the logic behind this and why people fail to see that a person indeed CAN BE ATTRACTED TO BOTH SEXES.

That's pretty much what my grandma and dad said when I told them I was agnostic. I (In a sense) know how you feel about this topic.

I don't get it either. It's probably all of the kids who think being bi is such a trendy thing. It's ******** annoying.

On the bright side, at least you got us. Let people wallow in their ignorance while you continue to have fun with your freedom and self awareness.

My mom tells me those things all the time but unlike other bisexual, I'm not confused or like one gender more than the other, I'm just not picky. But I do get how you feel, 'cause I do get that all the time.

I get what you're talking about, I'm straight and I used to say that kind of things. But if someone is asexual, someone who isn't attracted to ANYBODY. Why not the opposite?

I once said I was bi to a guy who was flirting with me. I told him I had a girlfriend, and he directly asked me out. I told him that I already said I had a girlfriend, and that I wasn't going to cheat on her. And you know what he said? He told me that bisexuality meant that you date a guy AND and girl at the SAME TIME.... I've been a 'lesbian' ever since, just because it is so much easier to explain, and I'm not attracted to 99%(maybe even more!) of the male population. So far, there has only been one guy that I like. So, uh, yeah. P=

I do understand that there are a good bit of people attracted to both genders, but I don't really believe it in most of today's "bisexuals". I have to say, I am one of those people who think being bisexual is the new fad, and most people claim to be that specific orientation because they obviously want to fit in. I'm not trying to say anyone here is saying that to fit in, but that is just my personal opinion about this type of subject.

^_^ I've gotten that on most of my being. "Your not bi, your just confused. MAKE UP YOUR DAMNED MIND, f*****t!"
"You HAVE to be one religion or the other. PICK!"
"Your HUMAN, you blood sucking freak!" If you've read my thread in "Paranormal" forum, you'd understand this one.
And "your not goth, because your happy!"

First, your avvi reminds me of a friend of mine's profile. All rainbow and multicolored... anywho. I completely agree. It's this way with most everything. Goth's, Emos. It's one of my deepest pet peeves. biggrin
