The Year is 2--- For centuries, the human world, our world, has been a topic of debate among the Arch Angels and the Demon Nobles. Questions on how and who rules it has lead to countless wars between the two different groups. The humans were unaware, until certain events rattle the world so that the entire human race became aware of the demons and angels around them. All of the events which only set the field for the war between angels and demons to be set in a new place. Only this time, the humans are involved, resulting in a war between three groups of ruling powers. A war whose outcome will determine how the human race shall live. Year: 2050 :-: The world has made many technological advances to the point that entire planet is practically covered in either desert, water, or metal. Plants are rare, and all trees are extinct ever since metal finally made wood item obselete and the greenhouse gases problem was solved by gigantic air purifiers the size of factories. Year: 2134 :-: Arch Angels and Demon Nobles continue to fight over control of the humans and the world. Up the the point of neglegence to observe what is happening. Barrier keeping the angels and demons hidden from the humans weaken drastically. Year: 2234 :-: The first event to happen was the formation of a religious cult called The Lord's Flies. The people of this group worshipped Beelzebub, the subordinate of Lucifer, as their main diety. They partook in many grusome rituals, many of which horrified journalists to the point that ceaased to mention them in newspapers and newscasts. Their latest ritual resulted in a female cultist to have an out-of-body experience, and came into contact with Beelzebub. Rather than killing her, he and her soul merged into one, and re-entered the girl's body and altered it into the image Beelzebub desired. At that point, the entire cult hailed her as Maiden of the Flies, despite her demonic appearance. The objective, and Beelzebub's decision, was then made clear by a single command: destroy any and all angelic beings. The cult went into hiding, preparing for the moment to begin the uprising against the angels and make the Maiden their ruler of a possible world of anarchy and chaos. Shortly after, he powers were so immense that the humans followers, both original and new members, became demi-fiends just by being near her, as if she just radiated with power. Year 2236 :-: About two years afterward, the first assaults had begun. The Maiden and her followers began to destroy churches, tortured and killed priests, and terrorized innocent bystanders. These attacks were aimed to make people lose faith in the angels and thus, weaken them to the point of surrender. However, no such thing happened. It all continued until one day, the unthinkable: the Maiden herself rebegan the construction of the Tower of Babel. Infuriated, the angel attempted to stop this all, but were obliterated in seconds by weakened faith and a too powerful enemy. With little options, the angels attempted an extremely risky plan. They found the most faithful person left in the world, a young child, and they merged his soul with Metatron, the mouthpiece of God and the most powerful of the arch angels. The young boy then began to make many people believe in the angels again, and thus the angels regained most of their lost power. It was then the angel's agenda to put the boy, their Messiah, in the throne as the ruler of a human world ruled under the strict supervision of angels. Just like with the Maiden's followers, their original and new human members became demi-angels from the power radiated from their leader. The world was nearly divided in half of belief...nearly. Year: 2237 :-: Only months after the shifts in power, people began to see the once hidden angels and demons around them. It was this time a man began public outbursts against both factions. He claimed that since they never watched over us to stop anything they did, the world was rightfully for the humans. His strong belief, non-political background, and charisma began to earn him support, up to the point that those who once believed in the Maiden and Messiah converted and believed this lone man. So much so that the man assembled headquarters throught the metal regions of the world, planning to defeat both the demons and angels and show that humans are to rule this world. Year: 2238 :-: No hostile activity has been shown from any faction other than the preparation of war instruments and recruiting. The world is divided perfectly in three ways in belief. Year: 2--- :-: World leaders, after neglecting to deal with this for so long, finally take action. They aimed to nuke the three factions entire and move the survivors to an underground civilization. This backfired as the angels and demons used powers beyond their comprehension to alter the trajectory of the missles, sending them into space and destroying practicaclly every information satellite orbiting Earth. Soon, people no longer knew the date, weather, or anything else humans relied so heavily on satellites for. The world entered a sort of In-The-Dark Age. Races of all kind, once thought mystical appeared and joined sides as well. The war had just begun....

The mother ******** rules on the mother ******** RP! 1. No God modding. Obviously. Take a hit or two, it doesn't make you any less of a role player if your character gets a scratch or minor head trauma. 2. Keep it PG-13 I suppose. Swearing, go for it. Those offended by it...not sure what to say. 'Conservative' clothing is allowed with character appearances. But the line is drawn before undergarments are removed. So if you wanna continue with that person, do a time skip of some sort in the forum, and do 'those parts' over PMs if you'd like. Not that I mind it, but if you look at the SF sometimes, you'll know why I have this rule. Groping is alright, but make sure there are clothes between hand and body part. But it's the sex I'm more worried about, go ahead and be as gorey as you please (so long as it doesn't involve God modding!) 3. Be as literate as possible. Yeah, I know it's a pain in the a** sometimes, but I don't want to spend half an hour deciphering just one sentence because of text talk. And if you don't use spell check, then just get it as close as possible. We all make spelling mistakes. And on that note, no little star thingies * or these do-hickies - in your RP post. It's acceptable during OOCness, but not while we're blowing stuff up. 4. Only one character per roleplayer unless we discuss otherwise. I'm going to say it now, this one doesn't apply to me since I have to be the three faction leaders. But I know how confusing it can be being multiple people, so just one person per person. Unless we discuss otherwise. In which case, use different colored text to let us know who is doing what. 5. No killing without permission! Sure, we're in an RP about war and fighting, but don't go killing someone because then they can no longer RP! Unless that person says it's alright, then kill them in any delicious way you please. And if it's a bunch of no-names (like generic cultist member 2764), then have a smashing good time. 6. Try to be active as possible. I know some of us aren't as lifeless as I am, but I've seen more than my fair share of great RPs go down the crapper because of people who are like ghosts. Ya know, the kind of guy/gal you'll see once, then disappears for about three months and suddenly reappears...once. So yeah, try to be active so nothing dies, because I'm all out of mana to use the necronomicon. 7. Do not quote any of the super long first page posts like this and what not. For the love of God, and all that is holy, do not do this! This is long enough as it is, I don't need it filling a book! 8. Follow the character sheet rules. No I will not place them here since this post will be a wall of text as it is. So follow them and everything will be okey-dokey hanky-dory.

Character Sheet of DOOM! Okay, there are few guidelines here. Firstly: race. If you choose to be a demon of any kind, you're automatically on of the minions of the Maiden and her demonic army. An angel is an automatic placement into the army of the angels. Humans can be any of the three races, but humans that side with the angels or demons are to be labeled as demi-angel or demi-fiend. Nothing cosmetic, kinda makes you slightly more powerful than an average human, but it's more of a 'brand' for betraying your fellow humans. Humans of the human faction have no change done. If you choose to be an entirely different race (elf, orc, elemental, etc.), they can be of any of the factions. Of course, since power radiates from the angel and demon leaders, you can choose to be a demi-(*race*)-angel/fiend. For example: a demi-vampire-angel ... or a demi-elf-demon. 2. If you have powers, it would be nice to explain it a bit, since not everyone may know what, say for example, pyrokenisis is. If you have a weapon (or weapons) that has uniqueness (as in, not simply a 'sword' or 'pistol') explain also if you can. Or even show a picture of it if you'd like, but in link form to prevent any annoying screen stretches. ((look at my characters for an example if you are unsure of what I just said)) You can have a mix of the two, but make sure to keep it balanced and fair to other people who prefer to use only one of the mentioned things. 4. You better have noticed I skipped rule 3. If not, it's okay. 5. Oh, and no bad mouthing other people's characters. Take that to the PMs as well. Just because you may like an appearance by picture doesn't mean you should hate on someone who uses a Tektek avi appearance. 6. Be sure to send it to me by PM. And title it 'My BAMF of War'. Depending on who you side it will determine which section your char's profile will go into. If you have any questions about anything involving this, don't hesitate to ask. If you have questions about something I may not have covered on anything, please ask. If you have questions because you didn't take the time to read my walls of texts...they will still be answered. The anarchists of the story, this group is aiming to make a world where demons thrive with humans, but in a world of survival of the fittest. Although misunderstood by many, many people support them because they also aim to kill all the angels. And wanting freedom at the price of security, these people have sided with the Maiden of the Flies and her conquest.
Their current main headquarters is at a now ressurected and modernized Tower of Babel, the once great tower that was destroyed because of human arrogance.
Username: Gaspard Osmond Character Name: Iona Forge Alias/Nickname: The Maiden of the Flies Race: Demi-Fiend Gender: Female Age: 22 Personality: She is like a rose whose thorns are larger than the petals. She can seem like the most beautiful girl inside, but she isn't afraid to let her sinful side out. Though normally, she is just very violent and loud. And it is well documented she is also extremely flirtatious to both men and women. However, she is easily distracted by sweets and will take candy over sex. Unlike some demons, he doesn't like to toy around with his food like a shark, if he sees the chance he will take the kill. He absolutely loves Miss Maiden (as he likes to call The Maiden of Flies) and loves to spoil her with sweets. Talents: juggling, finding the brighter side of things, balancing on poles, entertaining other people, can fast for a week and still say he is not hungry Weapon(s): Candy canePower(s): Wind magic: air blades, take away the air in a small field not entire city, can use the wind to fly and levitate, cause small tornados, use the wind to levitate his spear(s) copy magic: can creat copys of himself and copys of his weapon, a max of seven copys of a item. resist magic: a natural ability he has that allows him to resist against certain types of magic that would cause his senses to be under somes control. Again only certain, the reson why he is so calm around The Maiden is because one of the only three spells he can resist happens to be charm, the others are torture and mind control sight magic: Has the ability to magnify his sight to a cetain extent (10 miles at most) also can go infared and see through vision. Amplify magic: although he can't do it to himself he can amplify another person's abilities by 3 times their normal output. Example: say the person was a musical instrument and he was a amplifer, he could make the music louder if he so choosed. Follower of: The Maiden of the Flies Bio: He was a big time demon when he heard about the war and thought it would be fun to join in with the new leader and all. When he first saw her as he was joining the ranks he could not help but to be so happy as to appear infront of her in the middle of one her speeches and offer her a piece of candy saying it was what kids liked nowadays. This outraged the new recruits who happen to be listening to her speech at the same time. With their anger thrown aloop they attacked him only to end up becoming stains on the floor and walls. Even if he is one of the more feared demons he is also one of the more hated because he speaks so regularly to the Maiden. Appearance: Astrayl (imagine him without the sword)Anything else you'd like to share?: He cares more about how the maiden is doing then what other people and demons higher in rank are telling him, so sometimes when people want him to listen he would usually be to busy offering the maiden treats.

The angelic side of this war, many would suspect this to be the side to join rightfully. But even angels have their dark sides they hide behind their virtues. The angels believe whatever The Mouthpiece of Paradise says is absolute, and those who stand before them are traitors and should be disposed of. In a sense, the angels are trying to make the world under one ruler whose words are law and not two ways about it. The demons and nonsupporting humans call them tyrants, but words are cheap during a war like this.
Their main headquarters is built in the mountains and is built even above the clouds.
Username: Gaspard Osmond Character Name: Alistar Singleton Alias/Nickname: The Mouthpiece of Paradise Race: Demi-Angel Gender: Male Age: 11 Personality: Despite being a young child, he is more mature than most adults. Although he can be very timid at times, he has shown on numerous occasions that he is a great leader. He tries to behave just like the angels who follow him, but he can't escape that he is still a child at heart and still makes child-like mistakes. Although he dislikes violence and tries to talk things out first, he still carries a weapon in the name of self-defense. Talents: Is highly attuned to holy magic and is a great preacher. Weapon(s): A scythe that actually levitates rather than him swinging it himself. Power(s): Weapon Levitation: Because he is still only a small boy, he uses his new magic powers to levitate and move the scythe to his will. Holy Magic: Attacks of light, it can be as simple an a flying ball or as large as an orbital shot. He shows high skill in this, using it offensively, defensively, and as support like healing. Holy Guardian: Alistar gives control of his body to Metatron for a short while. In this state, he is powerful enough to cast dozens of high-level spells in succession, but leaves the body extremely fatigued. The only power rivaled to this is when Beelzebub has control of the Maiden. Bio: Alistar was only a small boy when these events occurred. He held firm to his faith in the angels, hoping his prayers would give the angels strength to end the senselessness. However, he never expected to be visited by Metatron and offered the chance to help end it by being the figure and leader of The Holy Asylum faction trying to bring the world under angelic rule. We rule ourselves, not you other worldly pricks!The Frontline
The human faction of the war. As the name suggests, they are the frontline of the human side of the war. And although they believe humans should rule themselves, others believe humans have shown time and time again that the human race still needs intervention at times. But that is non-sensicle gibberish to this group. Despite most of their members are unable to wield magic like the demons and angels, they compensate with runestones embedded within their weapons. Those can use magic without help of these stones are considered valuable members.
Although not considered their main quarters, it is the largest so it is treated as such. Although this headquarters is above ground whereas the smaller ones are underground, this is one of the more heavily supplied ones as first called to when an emergency at a smaller one arises.
Username: Gaspard Osmond Character Name: Raze Spectre Alias/Nickname: The Embodiment of Mankind and Venom Tongue Race: Human Gender: Male Age: 34 Personality: He can be calm and level when he wants to be, but otherwise he's as brutish and mean like a stereotypical mercenary. But one thing that never changes is his excessive use of foul language, even when giving important speeches. But under that battle hardened exterior is a man who show great compassion not just for his comrades, but mankind as well. Talents: A real great shot with one arm, somewhat acrobatic, great talker even with a few cuss words. Weapon(s): A one-handed assault rifle that has a fire-elemental runestone within and a one-handed longsword with a lightning-elemental runestone. Usually, he uses both weapons at the same time in combat. Power(s): None Bio: He was sent to military school at a young age, but shortly went AWOL after graduating and being transfered to a military branch. Using his experience from school, he became a hired gun and was among one of the best. However, one day at a speech giving, he was unknowingly called up to the stage and was immediately asked his views about the two fighting factions. His response, though earning gasps from the number of times he used the many forms of '********,' had also earned him respect in a sense people understood what he was getting at. Next thing he knew, his speech was broadcasted everywhere around the world, and found that many people would run up and pledge loyalty to him.
