 ~Utopian Falls, The Tale~Long ago, the world was in a condition of great distress. No one trusted one another and most were caught up in war, leading to mass deaths. It was then, at the world's darkest moment that one man came out on top and asked the people what they were doing. He showed them that everything going on was pointless now. The war was pointless as it was just a war of idealogy and now, everyone agreed on what they wanted to do. They appointed the man that opened their eyes in charge of the world. It would become a world of communism as it was written to be. There would be a government to start things on the right path but then it would fade away, this is what everyone wanted and for a while, everything was wonderful. It was our Utopia, however, now things aren't as good as they thought it would be.
The government still exists, it is not a perfect form of communism, but fascism now! The man they put all their faith in is now the dictator of the world and he lives in the remote area of "Utopian Falls". He choose this place to live, but little does he know of it's irony. He must be brought down and there are people willing to die to do so. This is how it all began, this is how things got to the way they are now.

Bio: My name is Amelia Deliverance Lanoy. I'm the eldest of my father's daughters, but the third oldest total. I have two older brothers and three younger sisters. My mother is dead and my father is with another woman. I'm not fond of her, or anything really going on in the family. I wonder if anyone would notice if I disappeared for a while.

Bio: My story isn't a joke for your amusement! But, I guess if you really want to know, I'll tell you. I was descended from a line of English nobles, but my mother was kicked out of the family because she broke off her engagement to a man my grandpa picked out so she could... well let's say, create me. Now if you think my father would take care of us, by us I mean my mother, brother, and I, you are dead wrong. He wanted my mom for her body, and her body alone. My mom lived with her friend's family until me and my little brother were old enough to be left alone and then she went an got a job. She got us a small apartment and we had all the basics, but nothing else.
That always got me upset, me and my brother acted so kindly and our mom worked so hard, but we got nothing and all the other kids got everything. So, I did the only thing a kid could do to output that kind of rage, I became a bully. I was the terror of the neighborhood for years, until a life changing event. My mother came down with a mystery illness, and died off it a few months later. I was devastated, but at least I had my brother. Shortly after that, we got adopted by our remaining relative, the noble ones, now part of the government. God, I miss that time. Everyone was so nice, and these people could actually afford to give us nice stuff! ...Go ahead, call me petty.
Then, that too went away. The beginning of the end was a sickening pain in my stomach, but I ignored it. I found good things about it. The more I burned, the stronger I got. Then I found out my brother was experiencing the same thing. Not that weird, right? But, in the end, it turned out those were the same things my mother had been feeling before she got sick. And true to the symptoms, my brother and I got sick. So sick that we had to be hospitalized. Then, on my fourteenth birthday, my younger brother died. A few months later I was told I was all clear, that the illness had gone and my body was better them ever, but I didn't care. I'd lost everything...
But I know they wouldn't want me to grieve for them. I'll stand back up and be the best, and bitchiest, girl I can be!

Bio:Quiel comes from a family who is literally owned by those of much higher status. One by one they are bought out in hopes of gaining freedom, however Quiel has avoided this cycle until he is "bought out". He is living with his grandparents on a farm and has never entered school. The only things he has learned were some words a great deal of math and how to accomplish difficult tasks. He barely knows how to read, but knows how to work. He has dreams of becoming an Aviation Ordinance officer in the Navy, just like his late father.

Bio:Hmmm, well I'm Coral Lanoy, more commonly referred to as Misty because of my middle name! I'm the youngest princess which means I get the most help with things. Bio: Asthera was never a girl of great importance or stature, living a rather lower-middle-class life. And yet, there was something that made her stand out among the rest: Her looks. In her neighborhood, there were not many girls, aside from the house-wives. As a result many clamored over her, asking for her hand. She turned them all down, for there was nothing in the heart of Asthera, only lust. A lust for power, and nothing else. She craved, not the touch of a man, but the touch of a slave, being beaten and begging for mercy. She married, at last, when a lord heard of her false beauty and came for her. She accepted without a second thought, leaving her home and family to live with a man she had met only once. Once the wars began, she was hidden away in her husband's own bomb shelter with no one but the two of them. Many weeks into the war, a man came, seeking shelter, and finding it in the temporary home of Asthera. He was but a commoner, and thus looked down upon by her, but through the days, he grew very much in love with the young girl he sheltered with, even though she was much younger than he, he was newly married and had just fathered the newest of his three children. Learning that his wife was dead may just have been the greatest news for Asthera, although she did not yet know it. The man, whose name was Lenoy, began a strange revolution against the war. Asthera was impressed, at first, but it soon turned to a great sense of triuph, for she knew how she could take the power that was rightfully hers. Seeing that this 'Lenoy' was headed to kingdom, she promptly left her husband and she took on the name of Lenoy. As he rose to power, she corrupted the good man with her thoughts, bending him to her will. Now, she runs the world through her husband's mouth.

Status: The troubled middle child.

Bio: Manny remembers the days when Father wasn’t so cruel, and Mother was still alive. More over, she remembers the day when their house was bombed and her and her siblings escaped, saving all but dearest Mama. This was not long after they were separated from their Father. They had been one their own. Many months later, starving and worn, she heard word that someone was beckoning in a new age, an age of peace. Curious, she snooped around, finally tracking down this mysterious man, and thus she found her Father, her own Papa. But who was the lady who stood beside him? She spoke to him, and he collected his children. What followed was a quite a soppy scene, leaving out the sneering woman in the corner. When Father became king, and the evil lady ‘Queen’, she fell into the darkness. Manny became twisted by her disgust at her Father’s new way of life and the way he treated people. She began to act differently around her Father and the Queen, pretending to enjoy the same things she does, playing herself into the Queen’s favour. But while the Queen thinks that Manny takes after herself, Maniera cries herself to sleep every night.

Bio:From as far back as I can remember, I wanted to grow up to be a good protector for those I cared about. I was born in a time of great war and swore to become useful. I got training at a young age because it was important for me to learn - and I put all I had into learning, becoming a prodigy in my home town.
Of course, as I got older, into my pre-teen years, they began saying that I wasn't prepared for the future. They said fighters would no longer be needed - since we were going into a peaceful utopia. But I would hear none of it. I continued to train and improve. I figured it was even more important that someone know how to fight in case something unexpected came about and everyone forgot how. I would be a shining star! It was a gamble, but after all those years of training, it was the only real option I had.
Eventually, I got accepted into the security of the royal family itself, and through my skill, quickly worked my way to the top. I didn't like what the government had become, and always felt I was on the wrong side. But it was the highest position available, and also, the best place I could get where I could continue to improve.
Other:I associate most with the children of the royal family. And where I will never tell of any plots they may come up with, as I know one of these days they'll have one they want to carry out, I will not help come up with any plan that will betray those whom I am sworn to protect. And if it came down to choosing between the children and their mother, I would indefinitely side with the children and try to bring the entire armed forces with me! Bio: My family was poor growing up. My father was a farmer and my mother worked part-time as a midwife way out in the country. My four siblings and I never had the fanciest things, but we learned how to provide for ourselves. My brothers went on to start their own businesses and my sisters married self-made men and created strong, stable households for themselves and their families. As the youngest, I expected to follow after them and do the same. However, when I was seventeen, my parents sent me to the city to find a real job. I'm not entirely sure how it happened, but somehow I ended up working as a maid for the supreme ruler's family. I've spent the past two years working hard, cleaning, cooking, and keeping the house together, but I have to admit, it's starting to get on my last nerve. They're annoying, aren't they?
Other: Ahh, I should warn you. I may look and sound sweet and gentle, but I have a foul mouth and a boyish demeanor (past the fluffiness). And I'm a chain smoker. But I promise, I make sure you can't smell the smoke~

exclaim Be literate (If you don't know what this really mean, head to the main forum of this guild and go to the rp info you need to know thread)
exclaim No character killing unless it is your character you are killing. To kill any other characters you must talk to the other author about it and then inform L_J_Rose that everything is okay with that.
exclaim Please try and avoid OOC posting. It is okay to put OOC posts in brackets after a post or before a post, but not on it's own.
exclaim Block-outs will not be tolerated. If block-outs occur I will lock the thread until the issue is resolved.
exclaim Profanity is okay as long as it's not over the top. I don't want to see the F word in ever sentence, but use swears as you see fit in character dialogue and thought only.
exclaim Romance is permitted, but don't go overboard! We don't want to see sex scene in the thread. (what we don't know about in PM wont hurt us)
exclaim All posts must be at least one paragraph per character post. I don't want to see any one line posting. If you have a block moment and can't think of anything, let me know and I'll excuse your short posting until your block goes away.
exclaim In action scenes, do not note landed blows. It's annoying as all crap because it doesn't give anyone the chance to dodge. On that same note...
exclaim Don't Mary-sue your way out of everything. Given the option to dodge, block or take the blow, don't be saying that your character escapes all damage all the time. It isn't fair to anyone else and it is not realistic in the least.
exclaim Keep a good concept of what can be realistic and what can't. What I mean by this is don't post actions that can't really happen based on something social or the way the world really works. I realize that this is a fictional roleplay, but please remember that love wont happen in less than a day, nor will paperwork get pushed through in less than an hour.
exclaim Don't rush the time line! Pushing things to move faster will ruin all realism that exists and keep people from developing their characters as well as keeping the story from having a good flow.
