Thrushpaw stalked in with the rest of the dawn patrol, huffing with anger. He noticed an apprentice looking at him, and he bared his teeth and let out a hefty growl before turning away to pad towards the fresh~kill pile, his raging mood scaring off any cat near him that had enough common sense. He selected a plump mouse, and he settled down by the apprentices' den as he took a huge bite of out the prey, cleaning his whiskers gratefully. It was still warm, it must have just been caught.

Blazingstar purred as she looked out on her camp. It had grown so large with the kits that had been born. She knew there were still queens expecting kits, apprentices to be made, and warriors to be named. Green-leaf had been nice to them this time. There was no greencough or whitecough from her medicine cats reports. She slowly got up from her perch and started to the entrance of the camp.
