Here’s the deal; the guild is very inactive and I haven’t seen very much to fix that. Also, I haven’t seen too many guild members post in the poetry section of the guild either. So here’s what I’m going to do…
For fun I decided to make this thread a poetry contest. I don’t have a lot of gold because I give it all to the guilds I’m in mostly, but the winner of the contest will get 5,000 gold. This is just for fun, and I am the only judge. There must be three entries from three different people. Each person can submit two entries. In summary:
~Three people must participate (minimum).
~Each person may submit two entries (maximum).
~The winner gets 5,000 gold.
~All entries are judged by me.
~The last day to submit is January 11th. After that I will take no more.
~The winner will be decided shortly after January 11th.
~The topic of the poem may be anything, but it must be a poem.

Hmm, it seems no one wanted to participate. I’m sad to see this, but if anyone has an idea on how to make this better, feel free to post here.

Hey, I'm really sorry about this (this meaning everything) ...it's pretty hard to keep a guild active with 19 members, and the guild merge we were considering (with another writers' guild) has become more or less frozen for the time being. Just hold on tight for now, and thanks for still posting. <3

With everything that's going on in the world at the moment I have little time for anything I would love to do... With the situation in Haiti, I've been assigned the task of those being deployed, and making sure they are ready for leaving. Although I would love to write, and my wife encourages it, I have little time too, seeing as how it is 1:30 AM here right now, my day is completely full.
However, when I do have time I will post. And I will speak with Ethril tonight about the merge. I can't promise anything but I do hope this guild comes back from the dead.
