No, Jade worked hard for it, shed blood for it, went above and beyond what was called for. And she got it. She's not liked by most of the pack, especially the females, who call her blood thirsty. He wants the wolves to have more equality, but he can only do that as a leader. Pic: (human and wolf)   Knight/Princess: Full Name: Lucien Junesburogh Age: 19 Rank: Royal gaurd Bio: Lucien's father was the personal gaurd to the princess when she was an infant before he died, since then, Lucien has tried his hardest to gain his father's position. In the process, he grew a bit of an infatuation for the princess herself. Pic:

Jade padded softly through the woods, her wolf ears twitching every time she heard a noise in the distance. She was comforted that if any problem should arise, she had her whole pack with her. Some of them may not like her, may even hate her, but they'd have her back.

Slayn followed closely behind the Alpha, many of the other wolves wanted her dead. While he too wanted to be the Alpha, he wouldn't do anything that cruel. He would get that possition the hard way if it broke his back.

Today, it wasn't a threat that had brought the pack into the woods. Today's sweep of the woods was just routine, checking to see if anything was amiss or missing. They hadn't had any problems lately, and as expected, there was nothing amiss in the woods. Jade shifted into a human, waiting for the pack to do the same.

Slayn cracked his neck while returning to human form, releaseing a sigh of content at his accomplishment, "That was rather uneventfull, eh boss?" He asked respectfully. No one else but him showed her an ounce of respect.

Jade nodded her head at Slayne and let herself do a little half smile. She rarely, if ever, smiled a real full blown smile. "I would say our work is done for the day. You all are free, but remember, keep your open for my call or anything amiss." She nodded at them and turned, making her way out of the woods.

"I have to take your word for that..." Slayn laughed a bit, then shook his head, "It suprieses me that they think so hostily tword you. I mean, its supriesing that you could reach this level at your age. I've been around for a century and a half yet you are an Alpha before me. I guess you could call me a little envyus, but i wouldnt dare try to fight you."
