((Yeah, I know we already have one of these. Oh well. wink ))
Lupe dangled her feet over the edge of the dock, moving them slowly back and forth in the water and listening to the ripples bounce off of the wood. She built a picture of the world around her and 'watched' Demi and Kalea splash in the water and listened to Harmony laugh with Harper on the beach as they built a sandcastle. She held in a sigh and cast her cloudy gaze over her shoulder, shifting slightly in her two piece, black and purple swimsuit; like the other members of her team, she looked like a model. She slid her fingers over the last remains of the fading scars on her abdomen. She hoped that Ishigami, Mika, Unari, and the rest of the 'gang' had gotten her message. She ran her hand through her curly hair. She wanted to hang out with a few of their friends again and have some fun. At least, the friends they had left. She let out the sigh and turned back to the water, twisting a strand of hair around her finger. They'd know how to find it if they decided to come; it was the same they'd come to years ago.

Dean piggy backed Darani who was in a little black two piece. Dean himself was wearing black swim trunks with a skull at the bottom of the left leg.
Nagihiko shuffled along next to him, his hands in the pockets of his dark and light blue striped swim trunks.
Both boys had no expression on their faces as they stared at the ground.

Harmony and Harper glanced over at the two boys and brightened slightly, though their smiles vanished as they caught the looks on their faces. Harmony got to her feet and dusted off her red and white tankini, shook the sand from her Mech, and crossed her arms as they reached them.
"What happened?" she asked quietly.

Dean just looked away.
"Phoenix...is in the hospital.."Nagihiko replied, his voice dry so it was obvious he'd been crying a lot.

Harmony blinked while Harper slowly stood. She glanced away and chewed her lip.
"She's.."
Harper glanced over at Gabriel, who sat on a rock a bit away from them in a black t-shirt and red and black swim trunks. He stared at Nagihiko as if he'd been speaking in another language.

Nagihiko swallowed back tears again, as did Dean.
"She has cancer." Nagihiko muttered quietly.

Gabriel kicked his feet slightly, leaning back on his hands as he hopped off the rock. He crossed his arms and walked distantly in the other direction, his gaze fixed on the sand and his head slightly bowed.
Harmony swallowed hard and glanced away.

Dean bit down on his lip and coughed a bit. He put Darani down and shoved his hands in his pockets.
Darani skipped away.

Harmony watched Kalea and Demi wave excitedly to the girl before glancing back at Dean. She chewed her lip nervously for a moment, then walked to him and wrapped her arms gently about him. Her exposed Mech was cold, even with the warm sun.

Darani listened to her surroundings for a moment before trotting over to Kalea and Demi.
Dean twitched slightly and his head snapped up and then he glanced down at Harmony.
Nagihiko sighed and checked his text messages when his phone went off.

The two little girls giggled as they made their way back to shore. They tilted their heads to the side slightly and peered at Darani for a minute or two.
Harmony pulled back after a minute and gave Dean's hands a gentle squeeze.
"I'm sure she'll be fine," she said softly.

Darani stopped just at the shoreline and grinned at the two.
"She has cancer, harmony." Dean said, his voice barely over a whisper as he fought back tears again. "She's had it for a long time, and she wouldn't tell anyone or go to the doctor."

The two girls trotted up to her, Kalea's two piece a dark green and Demi's red and black. They both waved excitedly.
Harmony averted her gaze. A long time? That's different then..
She held back a sigh and gently rubbed the back of his hand with her thumb.

Dean pulled his hands away and slipped them back into his pockets. "Ma-sharu and Luci the entire time. But didn't tell anyone." He whispered, her voice shaking. He averted his gaze.
Darani blinked and smiled brightly, guessing they were waving so she waved as well.

Demi was the first to extend a hand.
"Heya. I'm Demi. Demi Calix. What's your name?" she asked brightly.
Harmony resisted the impulse to shift uncomfortably and crossed her arms.
