About Zapakuto Spirit: A young Knight left his family and went off to war against the Norse lords.
After twenty long years he returned home expecting a hero's welcome, only to find it burning.
He charged the attackers but was captured, and the raiders made him watch as his family was executed one by one.
After they were all dead, he was severely beaten and tortured for their amusement.
As they were leaving, he drew himself up and stabbed the man behind leader through his visor.
And before he was killed, he raised the visor to see that the man was actually his younger brother.
At first he was angered, but then he remembered these raiders forced their captives to fight for them.
He Believes Mordred is the Soul of his long lost brother and that fighting beside him is to avenge his mistake.

Pure Hatred: Mordred's eyes turn red and he gets real quiet. Then he screams a savage battle yell that can crack the ground. Under these conditions, anything not mae out of seki-seki stone can be destroyed with his bare hands, though he needs rest for 2 days afterwards.

Battle Lust: Mordred's eyes get hazy and he begins to become restless. At this stage, his spiritual pressure begins to skyrocket and his zanpakuto won't revert to its original form, preferring to be in the shikai form. His reflexes are extremely sharpened, and nearly untouchable.

Sacrificial Rain: Not yet witnessed. But it is said Mordred calls upon the souls of dead warriors, who descend and slaughter his enemies.

Holy Fire: White Flames Leap from the sword at the incantation of "Frei illuminato". When the sword is swung, flames engulf his enemies, leaving them as mere ashes for the wind to scatter.

Hadrian's Tear: Mordred stabs his sword into the ground, which opens and emits a blinding white light that shines so intensely that most enemies perish within moments, if they are lucky.

Biography Before Death: He was a freshly knighted boy in service to Henry the V, King of England. Served with him at the siege of Harfleur. When the siege failed he fought for Henry against the French in the battle of Agincourt. He survived to help Henry fight off all of the waves of French knights. But he was horribly wounded during the battle. In the end, he succumbed to his wounds and died on the field.

Biography After Death: Mordred showed inept skill for sword-fighting, and almost effortlessly climbed to the top of the lists for swords.
But his skills for Kido were not so fortunate, and he struggled throughout the academy.
But eventually, he passed his kido tests, and vowed to never again use them.
For he thought them stupid, and comparatively useless to the sword.
After graduation, he joined squad 9. After only two years, he was the squad lieutenant.
Then when the Captain died, he was voted to the position, and has held it ever since.
