"Pride" by Soil plays, but only for a short moment, as Cross comes out from the back, dressed in what could only be described as different for him, as he was wearing a rather nice suit, tie and all, the WECW Championship around his waist. The fans could see it made him at least a little uncomfortable, as he continued to make his way towards Key and extended a hand to offer a shake. There were a few in the audience who weren't exactly on his side, but it seemed, for this night at least, they were mostly applauding him. He looks over at the award, with perhaps the biggest smile anyone has ever seen on his face, before moving closer to the mic to speak. The camera zooms in, revealing a couple bruises and a small cut from getting his head stomped into the top of the cell at Hell's Fire.
"The Best All-Around Superstar. This is a great honor, as everyone loves to be recognized for hard work every now and again. Now, there are alot of things that people do when accepting awards. I could thank God, thank my family, I could thank my opponents, Randy Orton and Currin for putting on one hell of a show, or I could thank my employers for giving me the opportunity to go out and do my thing, but I'm going to thank the people who truly made it possible. And that's each and everyone of you, because without you, none of us would out there and put on the show that you all love and watch with bated breath, cringing when we fall, cheering when we prevail. Even when I'm in front of these very cameras, and I try to go out and make you all boo me, in my heart, it's all to make this a better show so that we can accomplish our goal of making lasting memories for all of you. I'm young, and I've got a long, and. hopefully. very promising career ahead of me, and it is my deepest wish that each and every one of you here today, and those watching at home will stick with me for this long and beautiful ride. And to those of you who boo me, all I have to say is that it's your right to say whatever you want, and that's why I love this business. That's why I love each of every one of you. There's no better place in the world, and no place I'd rather be to entertain the fans than right here in WECW! Thank you! "
The fans certainly appreciated the part about WECW, as that got a rather large pop. Christopher grabbed the award that he had won and raised it high into the air as he moved towards the center of the stage and his music began to play, eliciting yet another huge pop from the crowd. He couldn't help himself but to move down the ramp and interact with the fans, slapping as many hands and giving as many hugs as he could. As he walked back up the ramp, he stopped one last time and raised the award in one hand, while the other was used to unfasten the title and raise it high up as well. Just as he had done at the Pay-Per-View, he looked to give the fans a kodak moment, his head held high, before disappearing backstage.
