Who's your favorite character and why?
I think I like all of them...each one has so many awesome qualities!
Here are some of them from what I remember:
Harry- Brave, and is always there to help! Ron- Hilarious and a great friend! Hermione- Quick witted, intelligent, knows what to do, also great friend!
Voldemort- ...... >=D Lol.

Honestly, my favorite female character is Ginny Molly Weasley, and my favorite male character is Tom Marvolo Riddle. It's sad he dies. He was a great wizard. Yet he used in a horrible way. I just like Ginny because she is awesome.

Oh! I personally L-O-V-E Bellatrix. Love her... Her personality is just crazy! She's a psycho chick, with a deranged, crazy mind.. I would of liked to see her go to to an asylum instead of die.. Though I have to admit she led a wierd life. -gained an attraction for Voldemort -went to Azkaban -Escaped Azkaban -became Voldemort's right hand.. woman. -killed Sirius -Murdered by a woman who had seven children.

I lurv Sirius (does it show? Sorry. *squeels*). He seemed like a great person to have a talk with about anything and he had that personal father-figure to him. Plus, he'd seem like a best friend to me if I was in the marauder era. Gosh, James was lucky. x]
*shakes fist at nevershoutnever* Bellaaaatrix.

It's cliche but, Hermione Granger. I seriously love that girl to death.
There is also Fred and George (squee!) Weasley who made me laugh too many times to count. Too bad Rowling had to separate those two. Gah!

Snape is hands-down my favorite character in the series. I cried so much reading his death scene and the memories he shared with Harry... still do. alas.
Loved Bellatrix for all of her psychotic-ness. And as SANDstars said, she became Voldy's right-hand woman. Which is awesome in itself.
Loved Harry because I felt like I could relate to him -- not in the 'my-parents-were-killed-and-I'm-an-orphan-who's-gonna-save-the-world' way, but just literally growing up and being roughly the same age he was as I was reading them. Rowling has such an excellent grasp of the concept of age.
And I can't forget the twins <3

I'm all for Bellatrix LeStrange. Partly because the character was an ingenuous make, and partly because in the movies she's played by Helena Boham Carter...oh whom I shall marry.

Luna- she's unique and odd and she knows it. she also knows it makes people shy away from her, but she's ok with that as long as she is herself
Hermione- she's very clever and smart and is very deticated. she is also very loyal to her friends and is brave
Fred and George- the comic relief to the story, they show that even in the darkest of times there can be laughter to get your through.
Draco- wellll mostly, because he's hot 4laugh he also shows how evil pride can be, and even in the last book he shows that even the most prideful can get scared at times.
